As a trilingual Thai person, I suspect that the first westerners Thais were exposed to ages ago were the French. Notice how all the pronunciation of English words like คอมพิวเตอร์ sound more French than English? And your friend is doing a great job speaking Thai!

KA is one of the few words in Thai that you can say in different tones, and different length like you noticed. Short is the way you write it in Thai but you can say it indeed short or long.

Actually Airalo's online sim is a normal simcard. The network company they use is Dtac and that's a great company.

Oh that's a really good question. When I google it, it seems that it does, if you're using Windows 10 or later version. You will need to set up your computer to eSim.

Word Thai "Ka" especially 4 Thai ppl.we used every time and in every sentences bcuz of our culture made you calm and very polite.when the local in Thailand they've heard ??? so sometime made western ppl.annoying but this is our culture.and Yeah.the way is ours.
