Spozz you got that right new is the fastest way to get it done and to make it look perfect, but for those on an extremely low budget they have that option to fix it if they desire to ...I personally place new on if the cover is as bad as the one in the video...thanks for sharing my friend :)

Great video! Another tip, if the foam has collapsed and still in one piece. You can steam the foam and it will pop back up.

Sweeeeeeeeeeet!!! Now how did you know I've been wanting to replace my seat covers in my Lariat. I just don't wanna spend a $1000 for a driver cushion and new leather, LOL. The only videos I've seen so far are that they take the seats out of the vehicle, it looks like that one you just did you were able to leave it in. I suppose it just depends on the vehicle. In Ireland we have people called upholsterers who repair this kind of thing :) I usually wait till the springs are sticking in my arse, and then I get a second hand seat from the breakers.

Some parts are hard to find in the breakers though. And you get to pay for other peoples years of farts, and god knows what else. But I agree for a run of the mill car a good second hand one is the way to go. Or just do what this lad does, and mend and make do.

Another life saver! I have an implant in my lower back that attaches to my spine and need to drive tall, high, poofy suvs that are older due to the new cars being too stiff and low to the floor. I was saving up the money to have my driver's seat repadded and recovered. Now I may be able to do it myself! Only one problem, has a leather seat got the same type of cover, or am I stuck with an upholstery shop? Thanks again!

I have the same seat, the welds on those seats are what tears it up. Everyone recommends putting something between the farm and the foam to prevent it from happening again.

Jessica Ballard you are very correct the welds are horrible on the foam we actually use material over them with some heavy duct tape and that cures it :)

What is your slick quick and dirty for cleaning vynil floors like in cheap pickups so that it really is easy to keep that way but, without it being too slippery ???? Love to see ! Can I please ask where did you buy the actual replacement fabric cover from. My seat was eaten by the previous owners dog. When I drive the van I constantly feel like I'm falling side ways off the seat. I've searched all over I cang find a replacement cover.

Cars are different when it comes to heated seats but when buy your seat cover it will be set up for your heated seats most of them are a pad that sandwiched between the pad and the cover Hope this helps my friend

My car is the same model with Toyota Passo but forgive me for not knowing what kind or model is used..just just a black rubber around the main door, passenger and rear bonnet. I really appreciate if Sweet Project Cars can help..thank so much..you are the best..

Spozz gotcha on that ...many times if the seal is not sealing we found that they are to dry from age not sure on how old the car is but we keep them conditioned with amzn.to/2r9vojT this keeps them soft and fluffy so they seal well...if they are older and flattened then you may need to replace them you can use the product to revive them in many cases.
