Just wanna say, this worked miracles on my old Silverado K1500 ‘98 junkyard cloth seats. I’m 19 so I don’t have much knowledge/experience with stuff like this quite yet, but all the black stains from old oil and grease are completely gone, they look brand new it’s actually crazy. Just requires good saturation and lots of scrubbing.

A nice job. I have the same vacuum cleaner that you are using. I also have a desktop computer and I use the blower function of the vacuum cleaner to clean out all of the duct inside my computer. I typically give it a cleaning once or twice a year to keep it running cool and quiet. I used to work in the automotive industry as an autobody repairman. The nastiest car that I ran across belonged to an old fellow who used to chew chewing tobacco. He was in the habit of rolling down the drivers door window and spit out the window, for which was successful most of the time :-(. It was a pretty disgusting mess to say the least. Thank you for the video.

Hey, Mike, I have a car that I want to keep, but a lot of Piedmont red clay got into the floor carpets from our son's baseball days. If you saturate it with the carpet steam cleaner's tool, it first looks great and suctioning seems to get it all out. However, as it begins to dry, the clay repeatedly wicks back to the surface - truly, the gift that keeps on giving. It doesn't appear that it can all be sucked out of there - or can it? Any ideas? Thanks much!
@SweetProjectCars Жыл бұрын
Clay is basically a dye and it will continue to do that. There are only 2 remedies to this, continue to do what you are doing but use a shop vac and use the spray bottle as shown in this video. Time is on your side, you will just continue to do it, once every week or two, eventually the clay will come out. If you don't have the time or patience to do that, you will most likely have to take it to a detailer and they will remove the seats then carpet and hang it to power wash it. Just keep on keeping on my friend :) Thank you for watching and asking, hope you have a great day and all the best on your project. mad Mike the hammer SPC
@philipatoz Жыл бұрын
Thanks as always for the advice, Mike. What I finally did for the returning / wicking (wicked! LOL) clay was get it to a point, using a mix of hydrogen peroxide and dish liquid squeezed out very good to get the very top layer of the clay out, immediately drying with cloth and hairdryer - so it looked clean. Then I cosmetically locked it in per your carpet painting video. It looks really good and I doubt it will come back through unless it gets wet again. If so, I'll buy me a good shopvac and re-dye. BTW, any crunching action on the giant yard rocks yet? LOL

I forgot to come back and comment but this solution worked fantastic. I had one of those round carpet brushes you can put on a cordless drill so I used that at a low speed...I worked your amazing solution in very well..used the brush and spray intermittently for about 5-7 minutes. Then after 1 hour it was literally like magic. It felt like the water bottle was lifting all the stains out as I used the shop vac to pull the liquid out. Many many thanks for this! I'm gonna use it on interior carpets and sofas too.

Mike I’m using the vacuum you suggested but when sucking up the water I’m getting so much foam it’s coming out the outlet do you use a filter at all when extracting the water and cleaning solution? (I tried with a small carpet extractor as well same problem)
@SweetProjectCars2 жыл бұрын
Hello Aaron, the foam filter you get with the vacuum is what you use when sucking up water. Due to the fact the vacuum is small, it will fill up quickly. Spraying clear water on to the carpet as you vacuum, called the rinse cycle if you may, will eventually ease the foaming as you get the soap out of the carpet. Hope this helps, thank you for watching, have a great day my friend. mad Mike the hammer SPC

This video is absolutely amazing. I really, really enjoy watching all your videos. And everytime you ask Hoolio to show the products in the description, I am always laughing so hard. Maybe you should try telling Hoolio to change his name to Hoolio Cesar Guillermo Chavez Rodriguez Bustamante. LOL. Really love your videos, and excellent details about to how to remove stains. Really amazing. Thank you, from Great Britain.

I love how you worked yourself into another job. Once you cleaned that spot on the office carpet, it stood out like a stain. Now you have to clean the whole carpet Hahahahaha But for a guy like you, no big deal! Just got the lithium plastic trim restoration kit. I intend on using it sometime this week. I am definitely prone to procrastination. LOL, isn't that totally counter to my response to your quote of the week!! It is funny how we as humans can understand the best way while at the same time screw things up with our mental baloney and do the opposite.
