Haha, that a feel-good song. I must have dreamt been a baby when it came out, but heard it growing up on oldies stations. They did great here in '73. 😊💜

The Searchers had a few hits when I was in high school in the mid-60's. I remember "Needles and Pins," and "Love Potion #9." They were a Mersey/Liverpool group, a batch that included Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Swinging Blue Jeans, Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas, and of course The Beatles.

I saw The Searchers in concert in the early '90s in Miami Beach. They played 3 sets of 45 minutes each and were terrific. I can't imagine why they sound so bad here.

I think each of them could have done okay by themselves, but they couldn’t have as much fun or reached the heights they did together! Happy they came back together and stayed together!
