Hi everyone! Here's my Tutorial Video on how to create these Miniature Clay Coconut Halves - Dollhouse Food.
First I'll be showing you how to create the Coconut Cane. Then I will be showing you how to create realistic coconut halves from your new cane.

The type of Polymer Clay I use in this video is Fimo Clay. Baking times vary depending on the brand of clay used - please refer to the instructions on your clay packets.
This Fimo Clay was baked at 110°C/230F.

○ Dotting Tool

○ Soft Pastels - Yellow and Brown
○ Pasta Machine - to roll out the clay.
○ Wet Wipes (Non Scented) - Used to wipe over the clay/clean clay.
CLAY USED:
○ White Translucent Fimo Effects Clay
○ White Fimo Soft Clay
○ Caramel Fimo Soft Clay
○ Chocolate Fimo Soft Clay
MIXING THE CLAY COLOURS:
○ White Colour: Mix White Translucent Clay with White Fimo Soft Clay (70% White Translucent with 30% White Fimo Soft)
○ The Caramel and Chocolate are the same as the packet colours. Just roll them out before use so they are soft to use.
