I have an SKB for my Les Paul. It has already paid for itself. On a trip back from Shanghai, I have to figure that at one of the airports, the case fell from a moving baggage tug. There was a huge section of road rash on the case. I had to re-solder a wire on a pot where it had been knocked loose. That may seem like damage. But the guitar was structurally perfect after what had to have been a really rough blow to knock that solder point loose. If United can't kill it, it's tough.

Nice product and great presentation. Baggage handlers do throw equipment. Between terminals and planes is where rain gets into cases. I pulled my guitar out of my anvil case upon arrival in Singapore and it was soaking wet.

"The only people who can get in there are the TSA..." This, after a close relative was missing jewelry after sending her purse through a TSA line. Fortunately, it wasn't expensive.

Looking everywhere to see if my 000 shaped guitar will fit in the dreadnought case. How do I find out? My guitar is a Dean Key Largo acoustic-electric six string with cutaway.

How 'bout a gigbag equivalent? I'm looking hard at Monocase, but I feel like SKB could build something comparable for less. Every dollar counts these days:/

B.S......jump and down in the middle of the case, not on the edges. You can clearly see it flexes a lot.
