When I returned to church after being away many long years. After spending years of listening to news talk radio, Crowder was one of a few, a very few that I enjoyed listening to. I now have a playlist of Crowder music that I listen to for 16 hours a day at times. I thank God for leading me to Crowder.

Crowder’s music is hugely instrumental in my walk with the Lord. Come as you are is one of the most profound songs I’ve ever heard. No rival is one of my favorite songs right now. God has surely spoken through this man. Keep up the good work brother.

Please pray for Richard. When you hear a godless name being spoken, bow your head and pray, speak their name out before Jesus, for their soul. They are real people who need the Lord. Richard, has an especially kind heart, but needs Jesus.

Wow a 26 minute interview and not one time did he give any credit to God for anything in his life. The whole interview was I ,me and mine.
@williammyers97734 жыл бұрын
I just saw crowder in concert it was an Awesome Spiritual evening. Thanking JESEUS CHRIST, THE FATHER AND HOLY SPIRIT. This interview was conducted by a secular instrument manufacturer, about how he makes his music. Crowded music is heartfelt and genuine. If anyone's drawn to his music as a result of this interview they will soon discover it is all about GOD, as did the numerous individuals who just found new life on the 20th of February. THANK YOU JESUS !!!
@jpgizzard4 жыл бұрын
William I'm not trying to start a argument or step on toes but if you couldn't see the pride this man has in this interview then you must have watched it with blinders on. He had numerous times that he could have given God glory for his success and he didn't. That proves that he does what he does for fame and fortune and for his own glory. As for the show you went to he does these shows every week and he knows what stirs emotions. I would encourage you to look deeper than the surface of a lot of these so called Christian bands.
@shanecagle10984 жыл бұрын
jpgizzard all that it proves is that he is human. If you look at the entirety of his work and interviews it’s pretty hard to see anything other than Gods spirit oozing from this dude. I understand what point you are trying to make and normally I would agree with it. But basing that statement off of one interview is ignorant and shows lack of research on what this dude is really about. His music has reached millions of people and that IS something to be proud about. God has used David to reach so many people. My gf who was at rock bottom included. Is that not something to celebrate and be proud and thankful for? The one thing about Crowder that I love the most is his authenticity with everything. He is a very come just as you are type of person. That’s the kind of person who Jesus was. And part of coming as you are is bringing the broken and messed up (the human side) of stuff to the table and while crowder is a huge voice for the body of Christ he is still human and prone to sin just like you and I. And we are a huge voice in the body of Christ as well. Just because we don’t have a recording contract doesn’t make that not true. So to make that statement based of one interview is pretty flawed man. This is a man who’s music is biblically sound. Of course we cannot know is heart 100% but that goes for any and everyone on this earth. Only he truly knows where that resides. But set this interview aside and delve into other interviews with him, watch his live performances and read his lyrics. It’ll be hard to deny Gods movement through him and his allowance of that.
@jpgizzard4 жыл бұрын
@@shanecagle1098 His shows are just that they are shows. Rehearsed shows and he knows what sales and what people want to hear and what makes money. I'm not bashing him I'm just saying that if he was doing what he's doing to bring glory to God and to see people saved you would think that in a 26 minute interview that he could give God a little credit in what he's doing.
@jessicawestbrook37304 жыл бұрын
That's what I listen for. That means more than anything giving God the glory!

Paul I'm not trying to start a argument but you would think that somewhere in a 26 minute interview that he could have given God some kind of credit or some kind of glory. This interview only proves that he does what he does for himself.

@@jpgizzard he did, saying he would like light to reflect off of him, like sunlight from the moon. Otherwise the moon is just a rock, with no light of it's own. Did you miss that?

Around 17:40 was very profound and pointing to God and what he said shows spiritual maturity and God given wisdom. He said he doesn't feel like an artist he said he feels very utilitarian, and it's not abour Him. I am still suprised that He was not more direct when speaking about God. I'm a little sad about it.
@jessicawestbrook37304 жыл бұрын
It isn't our job to do what only God can do and that's judging the heart. The bible talks about being careful not to pass judgement before it is time. Every single one of us are unique and if we just slow down and seek God's perspective truely, He will reveal Himself through the lives of other believers. I will tell you I believe we need to be careful expecting believers to fit into a box of what WE think they should be. I was sad that he wasn't really direct, but God spoke to my heart in the midst of listening for David's proclamation of his faith. God is so very awesome that He uses us all for His glory in all our uniqueness and why wouldn't He? He is our great creator! I encourage other believers to seek what God is trying to say through His people.
