I'm sitting here with my GH-600 in my lap and wondering if I should've made the decision to get Buddy's guitar first. Probably better now that Gary's moved on from LTD's, but wait long enough and you'll get my money for a Buddy signature.

I just wanted to let you know Buddy, I think and feel that you really don't get the honors and real appreciation that you truly deserve. I saw tonight the video of you and hendrix on stage together. I heard you really getting down, but I also looked into hendrix eyes as he watched you playing your guitar, and just like me ,he was in awe of your musical abilities. I still say that if there was no Buddy Guy,there wouldn't really be the hendrix we know about today. I haven't listened to you in a while, I lost my mother and my father and other things I've been going through, but that doesn't change the fact that you are a true living legend and I want to thank you for all of the great music that you gifted this world with. Thank you sir. It is a true honor to be able to witness you alive and well still getting down on that guitar. God bless you brother. You are deeply appreciated.

Saw Buddy live this past November, after the show he was hanging out and giving out picks to people. I got to stand about 5 feet from him and while he looked me dead in my eyes, i hollered “Love you Buddy.” One of the highlights of my life. He’s truly so humble, most people would’ve just walked off stage after the last song. He changed a lot of people’s life just that one night, mine included.

There has never been so much music as today. So many young are playing the Blues (or any other music from jazz to classical) that in the old days their were alot but not so many like now. There are so many new blues musicians these days that in the early days, you would have to have ten of each to equal the amount today. Im 64, and I just bought a Yamaha sv-200 electric violin from Sweetwater (of course, most of my equipment and instruments are from sweetwater!) , and I have never played violin before. Im getting good. I'm retired, so I play all day long. Thank you, Sweetwater, for having everything i need. I started playing guitar last year in April '23. I started playing keyboards in early 1990's. I have an awesome studio that most people couldn't have a personal professional studio in the old days. Im starting my own music company, and my first act I'm going to record is the great Blues artist Joe Cumbo from Buffalo NY area. He sings and plays harmonicas, and at 67, he is going to start a new career in music because I got my studio. Is 64 too old to have a career in music. No! Im retired, and Im going to use my new recording studio to help promote local musicians. I stink at playing, but i can make an awesome recording. Talking about my violin, I have to call Cameron at Sweetwater to send my some violin string!

He looks amazing. Buddy I will always love the blues. A little bit goes into everything I do. I went through a weird period when I didn't think it would be authentic for me to play with that feel. It's for everyone. It's because of this man's spirit. I don't think I've ever heard him play or sing a bad note and I've never heard him say anything that wasn't absolutely profound, funny, heartwarming. A great man. Thank you, Buddy! Keep playing those beautiful blues!

Buddy, I am sure you have entered the world of the legends you so admired. I am from Baton Rouge, too so I always knew your music. I loved the blues and rock so much I just had to hang with those other players you named at the local Honky Tonks. At 15 years I decided to become involved in music too for a living as a photographer of live shows. Just so you know I enjoyed knowing your brother Sam Guy.. ... Sure do hope you will be coming home to play before too long. ( I need an autograph to sell , LOL) Living the blues, loving the blues. Thank you so much!

During the 80's and 90's he would always play the blues with such soul his sound was so tremendous my left eye always jumped. Met him back stage have a couple signatures chatted with him, he was so approachable and genuine. I was walking through the woods is my favorite record favorite song ummm. What kind of woman is this. Yeah ! Sweet Guy. Thanks for always being there brah, musically that is cause all I had to do was put one of your records on and the a glimmer would appear in the dark. Amen to that. Good on you...
