I saw him shortly before the pandemic, and it was the best concert I have ever been to. It is not just playing tunes; the man is an entertainer.

I got to see Buddy Guy with Kenny Wayne Shepherd 3 days before his 87th birthday this last August. I could not have wished for a better show. You can feel this guy's heart from row 15.

I saw Buddy Guy on this tour in Newkirk, Oklahoma of all places. I have lived in Oklahoma since 1976 (and a short while in 71 to 73) but never heard of Newkirk until it was tame to see Buddy Guy. Great show!🎸

The first I really heard him was by chance listening to FM radio back in the late 1980s and he was doing a session for a show and sounded great. More power to him.

Buddy is a living legend and one of my biggest influences as a guitarist. I've seen him twice in the last year and he is still playing and singing at a high level. like Buddy, I've seen many older musicians give disappointing shows, but I can't say that about him. he is slower than he was but still delivers. I'm seeing him again this fall and can't wait!! thanks Buddy!

That cream strat that stays in the middle, is strat that he used for maybe 1 year, in 2000, for example he played it at bern in 2000. Another cream strat, with white pickguard is guitar from damnright that blues this is a guitar he used until 1993, before he got polka dot strat, and he started to use it again since 2007. And it looks like that sunburst strat is the very strat that was on photos for feels like rain record photoshots

The legendary, Mr. buddy guy it’s time to retire you seen the whole wide world now it’s time for you to do a little fishing and and play cards my father if you give him a screwdriver, he will give it back to you and let you know I’m retired. as in show business, all good things must come to an end. I’m glad I had a chance to meet you and get your autograph. I will cherish that moment for the rest of my life thank you. You are a world-class entertainer.🎸🏆👋🏾

Buddy is the last real Blues Man. He'll be gone sooner than later. I recommend his autobiographical book if you want to know the blues. His story is the Chicago blues, what an incredible man.
