It is without a doubt a musical masterpiece, the drumming throughout the album is stellar, complex and creatively serve the songs really well. The riffs are great and the solos are incredible as always from Syn. Matt's vocals are strong and the lyrical content serves the songs well. I was absolutely blown away the first time I heard the song "The Stage" and "Creating God" is definitely one of my favourite songs Avenged Sevenfold have ever written. Great album and great band 👏🙌🔥❤

I really wish we could go back to when I first discovered them, my friends older step brother gave us a ride to his house and was playing the self titled album that had just come out.. I remember watching their videos from City of Evil on MTV though, I can’t believe it’s almost been 20 years.

I love this. That whole album is on another level and Brooks is a huge part of that. Seeing these breakdowns is awesome even for those of us who don't know the first thing about drumming. It just makes my appreciation for the album that much stronger.

Brooks fits really well into the band, I'm glad they could find someone who fits the rev's shoes while also having his own drumming personality. Both him and the rev make drumming look so easy with how effortlessly they appear while drumming.

Nice breakdown and noting there's no snare. As a guitar composer/performer for book trailers about comics seeking inspiration, I like those rhythms since they sound nice and can be used to create similar ones on guitar in a unique way. Great instruction!
