I find Don Carr's instructional videos the most informative, concise, explanatory, easy to understand and follow, in addition to being the best of Sweetwater's instructional videos. I anxiously await every new instructional video he releases (even if I have no desire to play the song he is teaching us because I always learn something by watching his videos). They are that good!!

Your teaching method is amazing. The idea of simply writing string numbers after explaining the position of the fingers is a super quick and super clear method of explaining things. In less than 15 minutes I understood what I have to do and I managed to transcribe the tablature while in other videos it took me an hour and I'm not sure about the transcription. Really good!

Great Don! Straight to the point without so much talking in-between that you forgot where you were at like most of these guys do. On a sad note Don, my girlfriend told be i have to quit watching Don Carr videos because we are running out of space because i have bought half of Sweetwater's inventory! Even after decades of playing I can never cross pick accurately... something I could never do with confidence, so even though Glen Frey isn’t the standout guitarist, I marvel to an extent, the casual perfection with which he could play that. Even Gilmour, on songs like Us And Them... such a basic technique and yet some of us (I presume it’s not just me) can’t really do it. I sort of compensate by using hybrid picking, like Page/Stairway but it’s not the same.

Don, very nice lesson and the graphics were easy to understand. I don't think it was necessary to call out the actual chords, just "Capo at 7th and play these shapes" would have been easier. I hope you don't get blocked.

Good lesson. Thanks for it. I would suggest to name the chords relative to the Capo. Would be easier for your veiwers and would save you having to reference the actual chord as it sounds and then the chord relative to the capo. Just wastes time.
