Many people wrongly think that the only purpose for a capo is to “cowboy chord” through a song in a different key… when the sonic possibilities of capos are so much more than that. My favorite use is so I can play double stops up and down the neck against a higher or lower note that is in key with the song without it having to be the normally open strings. Additionally, using a G7th or similar that doesn’t squeeze the strings out of tune you can capo at the 5th or 7th fret to emulate a uke or mandolin sound. I have a baritone that a capo lives with it so that guitar (tuned to D) can quickly become Eb for a song, up to E, or even capo the highest 5 strings for “Drop D” low note without changing the rest of the chord shapes.

I would say probably Myrtlewood, it's sort of like Breedlove's signature wood.
