Consumo was an absolute nightmare for me as a kid. It took easily what felt like 20-30 min before reaching the goal of over 1,000lbs, and that's if I survived; making it easily the most difficult mini game, and the most difficult clique challenge.

I don’t mind the shop classes, but I did struggle the classes a lot as a kid. So I understand the reason. I personally enjoy Con Sumo. It’s more challenging than the go-kart. Geography is buggy, but I don’t hate it too much. I fucking hate keep ups. I can’t keep up with the controls. Multiplayer was so boring to play, it made me want to play the original PS2 game!

I recently got the PS2 version from the Store on my PS4 and I haven't made it past shop 4 because you have to move the left stick EXACTLY the same as on screen, starting from the same location, all of it.

Did you know? Rockstar had plans to include Grottoes and Gremlins as an actual mini-game. The idea was scrapped due to the lack of time and resources, and then said mini-game was supposedly replaced with ConSumo

How does anyone not finish math class with ease. That was on of the easiest classes. The only hard one was the mouse detection for the bike shop. Trying to go in a circle would fail you and the detection was very inconsistent.

I have the original ps2 pal copy and love consumo lmao xD my high score was around 2000-3000, I would just lazily play for ages cuz I found it relaxing 😂 Shop class is evil tho! Even when I turn sticks the right way it fails me sometimes because there's some screwed up detection or something at the start, so if you as much as nudge the thing upwards or down etc to initiate the circulating movement it fails you! 😠

I recently started replaying bully and beat consumo without losing a single life. I think it may have taken around 8 - 10 minutes. I actually went over the score (1200 something) before I realized I was done. I think that game is extremely easy if you have patience. My strategy was to just stay in the middle, dodging anything that came by and grabbing the food as it came to me. If you're impatient you'll struggle a lot.

I never had much of a problem with Consumo. As long as you stay near the middle of the screen, I usually was able to get the character to eat the right foods pretty easily. The only hard part for me was that it just takes so damn long that I would sometimes get bored and lose concentration.

On PC and PS2 versions i could never get the stick rotation thingy at all, if i start rotating even half a second after the icon appears. I always had to memorize when the sticks appeared and what direction it was and start it before it tells me to do it in order to pass...

Just a few tips that I discovered while replaying the game in the XBoner: -For Shop class, it is better to immediately pause when the rotation command comes up, spin the stick in the correct direction while paused, *then unpause*. Otherwise, the game fails you. Idiotic, I know. -For Consumo, I found that the stick offers better maneuverability, but the Dpad moves you faster. So, if you want a little extra speed, move the analog and the Dpad in the same direction. I can't tell you how much of a difference that made when it comes to catching up food or running away from the fugu or sumos. As for the rest of the critique, I have to agree with all of your points. I loved the newspaper route, tho, altho I wish they had increased the number of mailboxes. 24 is super easy to pull when you pick the Shop5 bmx. It definitely felt like a good homage to _PaperBoy_ lolz.

I loved the geography minigame, maybe that's just me! I think Rockstar's decision to reveal collectables on the map was a great idea too - people would just google them otherwise as it'd be basically impossible to finish the game if their locations were unknown.

The bike and go kart races were the most annoying for me. The AI seems to be tethered to you so if you get too far ahead they catch up instantly (you can even see it on the radar in bike races when the red dot just warps to you). Plus two to three minutes of button mashing makes the bike ones even more tedious
