We met years ago, you were hauled out in Tahiti and working to remove your vessels shaft. At the time I was living over on Moorea. So happy you have continued your adventures. Today I sail my own boat but over in the Atlantic as I slowly work my way around this world, hope someday our paths shall cross once again. Wishing you safe passages. S/V Siberian Sea

Well done I am much the same , sail alone and struggle with nature’s offering , wild weather , hot days , and days without wind , the food she offers , the water she tips over me , the boat ages quicker than me so need more attention , constant eye on all parts , but would I sit in an office gazing out the window till 5.00 pm , no way , so keep going

Tunneling you billions of bright peaceful,knowledgable paths of light . Your sprite of strength,patience,soulfulness,braveness and humbleness have touched me deeply today as I work on the shelfs of my 'on land boat' named Tug . I made a couple goof-ups,but in the background I was playing this TubeClip with you deeply sharing about patience,and trust, which enabled good vibe'd reactions on my part.. while my own inner wisdom clearly reminded me that these carpentry moves are based on accuracy,not speed. That accuracy makes excellence to the eye and to touch. Sending you much aloha,from the Ca.west coast.

Alone is sometimes about being FREE.. & if that freedom comes with FEAR, learn to make that distinction of what’s important most all all & watch that freedom flourish as you conquer those fears & embrace new adventures in life. Good for you. 💪🏻💪🏻🌞🌿👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Gabriel Swift all I can say is one word: Thalassophobia is one of them. It refers to an intense and often unwarranted fear of the ocean.

It's a great read so far, I am about half way through it. It's not quite what I expected, but Liz's story is truly fantastic. I wish to someday embark a similar journey, maybe diving instead of surfing tho, those big waves scare an old guy LOL

I like that there’s a Cat there to keep her company ☺️ Aloha🌴
@ProjectManaia6 жыл бұрын
You would be surprised how many cruising sailors have a cat (and sometimes dog) to keep them company.... personally I like the human company, sometimes less understanding but at least you get the occasional answer....
@kevincostner97346 жыл бұрын
There used to be a cat. Its passed away to wherever cats go.
@DanMarshallSails6 жыл бұрын
Someone else was shooting some of that footage. Perhaps the cat?

You've sailed 20,000 miles in 12 years, that's only 138 miles per month, so since you only sail about 1 day per month, what do you do the rest of the time, and you are only free to do this because someone gave you the boat, you didn't earn it.
@kathymetcalf99266 жыл бұрын
not good to be a DICK
@kevincostner97346 жыл бұрын
805gregg read her book. You might learn something. But those 20,000 miles are blue water miles ,her crossings from california to mexico,panama to tahiti and the other island chains in the south pacific . I am sure she sailed more than 50,000 miles on her keel on top of the 20,000 just sailing around the islands looking for waves and other adventure. She deserves respect for what she has accomplished. Youre comment shows you know nothing about her. So you should find out more and then give us youre opinion. The boat might have been gifted to her i am not sure but reguardless she would have spent 10 times the boats value over the past 12 years just in maintenance and preparing for her voyage. So gregg i hope you can understand you have a lot to learn about boats and crossing oceans
@alangravley95746 жыл бұрын
+Kevin Costner Hey there, I commend you giving such a nice reply to the classless jerk, who has no idea what she did to "earn it". Never ceases to amaze me how many fools open their mouths without having any substantial knowledge of that which they speak. Sounds like he is most likely highly jealous of not spending 12 years pursuing his dream, doubtful if he even has a dream anyway, lol. 805gregg, are you always such a moron? Or do you have moments of clarity in your fits of jealousy?? Try learning about something before opening your flapping lips, it will go a long way in making you seem less of a complete moron.
