M15s favourite time is feeding Es time and grabs every opportunity he can, so precious Because of these constant feeds there is not a great lots of rivalry going on, i wonder if that will change as they grow. I remember the rivalry between E21 & E22 which obviously was more because there was only M15 doing the feeding after the loss of beautiful Harriet, but what an amazing job M15 did. He hunted, he fed, he protected and all without any help and because of his dedication like now E21 & E22 thrived and successfully fledged So lovely to see M15 in his happy place and the ES content after good feeds Thank you Androcat 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

@diane9501. The rivalry will continue until dispersal. The E’s will learn to self-feed, and they will practice stealing from one another. Post fledge, they will compete to be the first one to the delivery, then try to protect it from a steal. All the skills they need to survive. 🦅🦅

For having such sharp talons and sharp beaks it is amazing how delicate the adults are with their young babies. They are so careful with them. They really do everything they can to protect and nurture them. It is amazing to think that it takes five years for one of those little chicks to become an actual bald eagle. It is alway so interesting to watch the chicks grow. Their feet get so huge that it makes them look goofy. And they grow up fast and soon are fledging and are on their way to becoming sub adults. It is wonderful though to see M15 has moved on since Harriet as Bald Eagles mate for life unless something like Harriet passing away happens.

Ha! Thought for sure when F23 started her hungry eaglet routine she would take the fish to go! She’s always full of surprises. There was no way M was going to miss a feeding opportunity. The E’s sure did tap out and M15 was in his happy place brooding them. Thank you very much Andricat.💙🦅🦅💙
