Hunger will make them aggressive that's for sure. Poor E22 hasn't really had a lot for the past 2 days. So I guess less food to the nest is gonna mean less food for E22. M15 seems to tolerate her, but she was giving me the creeps when she was next to him on the branch. She was just staring at him. She looked like a psycho killer lol. LH when do the eaglets/eagles vocals change. After they turn 5 or some time before that? Thanx as always.

It is heartbreaking seeing the hungry E's needing food and fighting for the little bit M15 brought into the nest. Food scarcity seems to have reactivated E21's aggression. All Rogue eagles can/will attempt to steal food. Also, all eagles will be a distraction if interfering with a foreign nest ❤️ M15 has been fighting against multiple rogue eagles since Harriet disappeared. He can only do so much, and the eaglets will have to persevere. Let us all have hope 🙏🦅

I had a feeling M15 was being extra cautious today with his nest timing as there are so many eagles around and they all seem to want to steal his food. He is after all an amazing hunter and provider. This is becoming stressful for them all. Just today I figured the same - he's not able to get food back. It's all pieces. He has to eat, the E's have to eat. Lil 22 hasn't had hardly anything the past 2 days. The interaction between he & his sister today was something. I was in total awe seeing him quite upset after she won the food battles, she ate, saw him ducked and ignoring her. She was intrigued. He kept his back to her for some time. She kept trying to look at him. He ignored her. She didn't like it. I've never seen this between siblings before. Extreme stress. They know things aren't right. The toll is adding up.

Earlier one of the swfl assistants sorry if I got their actual name of what the workers r called. They said since M15 had brought in tons of fish the other day, that the eaglets should be fine for not eating much today since they both had full crops from the amazing work dad Mr. M15 DID

Wondering if this is the one he roosted with in the front pine. He followed her to there The females are the strongest and most dominant. If she's choosing this territory and this nest He has no choice accept her or give up his nest . I believe what we are witnessing as hard as it is , is probably nothing to what the E's face once they go out on their own . 50% survival rate for the first year . Not great ! Hoping these early hardships for Harriet's last babies will make them even more prepared for life ahead .

So the stress continues. Has there been any sign of R 23 after the big fight she had with another intruder? How many intruders are we up to now? I hope the E's can make it to fledgling and learn to hunt quickly. Then, M15 might get less stress.

@@laurasanchez7652 Hi Laura yes the intruder will most likely continue to follow M15 after the E's fledge because she sees him as a source of easy food. Also when M15 brings food to the E's on the ground after they fledge, the intruder will most likely try to steal it from them.

Hmmm, this is the new young intruder and I don't think she's stealing the food yet. If you looked at the video prior to this one. The other intruder that kicked E21 had bruises on her feet. This intruder doesnt. Maybe the reason why M15 came with few fishes because the Fort Myers fisherman and people stop throwing food at M15 to catch🤷🏾‍♀️. When they see this they may start back again. In eagle or raptor world, M15 may seem to take a interest in the new intruder. Its normal behavior. Trust the Eagles M15 has gotten both Eaglets to 9 to 10 weeks. They don't have long to go..

I just hope that E22 manages to get enough food to keep him strong and to reach his next evolutionary stages (wingering, hopping, hovering). In these last two days we could clearly see what a difference it makes. E21 made significant leaps, while E22 fell back somewhat in the skills he had already acquired.
