That touches my heart so much just to see how far they have come the last of the Harrietts and M mighty magnificent M legacies I shed tears just watching it they did it and I hope they hang around a little longer These two became my favorite because of all the ups and downs and struggles, they’ve all been through together And I am surely it helps M having them around. He doesn’t mind being a proud papa and bringing food he and enjoys it to a point, but I know he likes having them around too and to see that video is just so touching. I've always been a Decorah eagle fan. I never really watched the Florida cam until the day before Harriet disappeared. I accidently found the facebook page and thought what a beautiful eagle Harriet was and that she had been around for years. I wanted to watch her too and was so excited to find the site quite by accident. I looked around and found exquisite photos of Harriet and M15 and the little babies. I never got to watch them interact together live on camera. I was so sure I'd be watching her for quite some time in the future and was so glad because Mom Decorah and her mate were in a nest off camera and I couldn't watch her anymore. New eagles have come to Decorah since, so that's happy news for the future. But imagine how I felt the next day when I found out Harriet was missing and didn't return home. The eaglets were so small at the time it was scary to think she might not come back. I've seen that happen before like when Dad Decorah disappeared. As days went by it became obvious Harriet was gone. Now i often read about how wonderful it was watching the two of them in the comments. Anyone who got to see that live, you're so fortunate. I was always certain the eaglets would make it. I'm so proud of M15 for all he's done to help me keep the faith about the future of E21 and E22.

I started watching Decorah in 2011 and in 2012 came to SWFL. Been following both nest. Dad Decorah had a young female and he showed her how to feed the babies. Mom was a fast learner she has had over 40 fledge. Harriet bonded wlth M15 and taught him how be a great father and mate. Mom and M15 both raised hatchlings to fledge as single parents. Two great nest!

Without a doubt, E21 is a vision of sublime beauty. She continues to learn and hone her skills, among them being a graceful and strong flyer, and she’s not even six months old. Just imagine the exquisite eagle she’ll become. M15 must be an unbelievably proud parent, to have raised two such magnificent young eagles. I realize that the urge to strike out on their own and be independent is growing strong, but I’ll hate to see them go. Absolutely amazing video capturing E21 in all her grace and glory. To see her like this is a something we all thought impossible when Harriet first went missing. Our only concern was that M15 would stick around and cope with two little Es on his own while grieving. Now because of the fantastic job M15 has done, we get to see E21 looking so elegant, strong and grown up, almost ready to go her own way in the big blue skies. Thank you for the info about Harriet - I had read nothing about her disappearance. I'm so proud of E21 and E22 - both so grown up, and nearly ready to disperse. Hopefully they will remain in the territory, and we'll be able to see them occasionally. And I'm proud of M15 - he raised two eaglets on his own, endured owl strikes, and a very pushy adult female. All of this after losing his mate, Harriet. Best wishes and good health to this eagle family!

After the eaglets leave every year I know it’s a tough time for them as they’re on their own totally but I think these two I’m not going to worry about as much. When Harriet disappeared and it was just up to daddy and they had problems with the intruders trying to steal food and the owls the Eaglets had to grow up a little bit faster so they could keep their food and I guess you could stay they became streetsmart. I know they’re gonna be OK. ❤️🦅🦅
