What I love about Andor is that after a thousand years of Sith planning, of the Sith gathering allies, moving pawns, infiltrating the Old Republic, after all the manipulation Palpatine used in engineering wars and crisises with which to finally destroy the Jedi Order and assume power, after all the contingencies Palpatine set up to contain potential threats from Force Sensitives, the one thing that Palpatine woefully underestimated was the sheer will and defiance of normal, everyday people who gave everything to fight the Empire. He, in his arrogance assumed that only his only serious threats were Force Sensitives like the Jedi, he completely ignored people like Saw Gerrera, Luthen Rael, and Mon Mothma who forged a small but determined band of freedom fighters to oppose him. There's something great about the Sith being undone in part by people who made the conscious choice to abandon their fear.

For every Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, they're are hundreds of Andor and Luthen, hidden heroes of the Rebellion. Magnificent work. Whenever I'm asked, "which Star Wars character are you?", I always answer: one of a group of nameless Rebels on Hoth, gathered in a hangar listening to Leia's withdrawal instructions. There's not going to be a historical victory today --the goal is just getting everyone out safely. Leia doesn't sugarcoat her speech: she lays out expectations, sets timetables, and tells everyone to do their jobs and look out for one another. It's such a powerful scene --these are technicians, pilots, mechanics, supply chain and I.T. folks. No heroes, no legends, no magic space wizards with laser swords. Just... people. People who, for whatever personal reason, figured out which side they had to be on, and made the decision to fight for it, with their lives if necessary. Because that's what you DO when fascism is on your doorstep. This video captured that perfectly. Thank you for it!

Fans love Andor, and it has a lot of great easter eggs and callbacks - fits in perfectly. But it does it very subtle and the right way. Still, there are many genres possible in the SW universe. They don't all have to be what Andor was doing. There's room for a lot of different styles.

The core of Star Wars - as much as I love Jedi vs Sith, lightsabers and the rest - is really the resistance of an outnumbered and desperate good against an entrenched and vastly powerful evil. God I Love Andor. It is just SO so good. I adored all of it and is my favourite star wars content, up there with Mando but even better imo.

Oh my God, my face is full of tears. His work is wonderful. Andor and Rogue One took a new, rawer, more emotional, truer, and more visceral look at everything we understand Star Wars. And that is absolutely wonderful. Congratulations on the beautiful video. He summed up everything I felt watching these two works. Hugs and love from Brasil.

Andor is like the early seasons of Game of Thrones.. awesome great dialogue.. no need for lightsabers, dragons or sci-fi noises.. just great acting and great writing. I am so glad I watched Andor.

thanks for making me cry again almost as hard as I did at the end of Rogue one and Andor. No but seriously, this was beautifully done, masterful edit, a perfect compilation of everything Andor meant to portray and what the Rebellion stood for. It's amazing how this show, that I wasn't expecting all that much from, made me see Rogue one and the original trilogy in a whole new light. Those movies have always been my favorite from the franchise but now Andor made me have an even deeper appreciation for all those characters and what they fought for. I need more of this, more of these edits and just from the star wars franchise in general.

The Past, Present, Future structure to this montage is incredibly well done, and using Luthen's monologues as structure alongside Rogue One, Andor, and a bit of Mandalorian footage was truly inspired. Truly my favorite part is the opening Past segment with the Vangelis-inspired Bladerunner/Dune soundtrack overlaying the harsh architecture prevalent in Andor's first season. Excellent video, friend, excellent video.

I just realized the Rebellion insignia is a rendition to the Jedi Order which is a raised up lightsaber. A lightsaber is an extension of The Force itself, fueled by kyber crystals which is a gift from The Force. Not only it is a tool of offense and defense, it is a beacon of hope and a guide to light the way. The Rebellion is a lightsaber. One has the tools to build it, you can either conceal it or show it, it will only need the right crystals, the right people and the right moment in order for it to ignite it and fight against the dark and give light to the galaxy. "The strongest stars have hearts of kyber."

Seeing Luke at 6:14 really made me hold back a sudden welling emotion. We’re so lucky to have Star Wars, a tale of rebellion against oppression wrapped up in a fun and deep story with so many angles and perspectives. It truly is the greatest thing.

My favourite era of Star Wars is the Age of Rebellion! This video is a beautiful tribute to not only the Rebellion but also Rogue One and Andor which imo are among some of the most underrated Star Wars stories. Excellent work!

Amazing. You have truly captured the heartbeat of rebellion against tyranny, standing against oppression and resistance against nearly insurmountable odds. A testament to what Andor achieved in illuminating the origins of the Rebellion and being the centrepiece of this.

God…Andor is an absolute masterpiece. I still can’t believe that show came out to be the best piece of Star Wars media that’s come out post Disney acquisition, and in my opinion since the Original Trilogy. What makes it even better is that it was probably the least anticipated Star Wars project.

Hey, maybe watch The Clone Wars, The Mandalorian, play Fallen Order, read the High Republic-books and the 2015-Darth Vader-series, these are absolute masterpieces.

Just want to say I'm feeling so heartened by all the comments and seeing how much this resonates with people still. And so it should - such important messages to get through in these dark times. And what a masterful piece of editing. Reminded me of why I've always loved Star Wars and tied things together in such a profound and moving way, drawing parallels I hadn't seen before. Thank you for this and MTFBWY!

I find myself searching for Andor on youtube like every day to get some more snippets like this ... to shorten the waittime till season two. I'm dying for it. For the Rebellion!! ONE WAY OUT !!!
