I know this video is almost 2 years old but I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to explain the solo clearly. I had been struggling with tabs and to hear and get explanations is super helpful. I’m not playing it at full speed but that will come with time. Thank you!!!

Hi man, I remember when I was 9 years old I came across your stand by me video when I was looking for a song to play that was easy to start me off. And thanks to you I learnt the song and was super proud that I accomplished that and that was the thing that kept me going with guitar. So I would just like to say thank you. Keep it up man!

Brilliant. I learned this lead a couple days ago. I am NOT a lead player at all. Parts 1, 3 and 5 i had down, but 2 and 4 were completely throwing me. You broke them down perfectly, and now I can play the whole thing! Thank you!

Thanks for teaching scales BEFORE teaching solo parts. Really helps with learning the neck to find cool sounds and improv
@donnyt77992 жыл бұрын
well that solo is a lot harder to get right than the simplicity of the structure and solo scales imply. ive got all the notes but its gonna take a minute to match em up. great lesson. i had fun learning it. and hey youre an excellent player and singer.

@@minseongkoh Man, as I was growing up, it was always one of those solos that was just out of reach. About 2 months ago I started reading tabs and stuff but didn't really make much progress. After watching this video and grinding it out, I spent about 4-5 hours over 2 days. Messed up in a couple spots during a gig though, lol.

It breaks my heart not to have access to all these songs. If somehow I can get them in the future please let me know. I can't get in to the patron site while in town at the library.

does anyone know about pinky pains when playing?
@swiftlessons7 жыл бұрын
Oh sure, that's totally normal. Just listen to your body and know when to take a break. I highly recommend warming up before playing the extra taxing stuff, and also massaging the hand to increase blood flow. Another contributor to hand cramps and pains is dehydration, so make sure that you're getting plenty of fluids. Be well. -Rob
