I realize that they need to keep it simple for maintaining strength and integrity of something so large, but I still find it interesting that no matter what they've done at the smaller price points, their Titan class figures are still not much more complex than the originals.

The new Fort Max and Metroplex look great, but they are both lacking in city mode. The originals city mode LOOKED like a city. These just don’t.

Aside from the obvious of having different designs, Fort Max is a double-headmaster and wields a big sword.

His arm panels are Metro's leg panels, his crotch is the same but backwards, his lower arms are the same, his legs are the same with some stick-on panels and he even has a swing-out shoulder that has no functionality because it is a remnant part.

Titans Return Fort Max is just sad. Hasbro team in 2016 was lazy AF designing it. City mode is pathetic a shadow of it's original g1 toy. At leat the original had an actual city mode. Lack of weapons too had to get a third party blue gun and got the official Hasbro Master Sword that was a Toys R Us Hong Kong exclusive on ebay

Such a basic transformation. Am really surprised designers haven't come up with something more interesting. The third modes of the titans have never been great, so why not take the opportunity to redesign the model? Cost I'm sure.
