Awesome tips on a swim jig, Tyler This is my lure for 25 that I’m gonna glue in my hand and get more confidence with and these tips will well get me on the way. Thanks again.

You're videos are a perfect length, I like detailed information and that can't be restricted by time. Great video Tyler, very informative. I just brought 8 jigs and I was kinda of debating where not to throw. You cleared up all the issues I was thinking about. I appreciate you giving up good game..

Great video. I would like to see a video on rain gear. Gear for warm weather, cold weather and gear you can wear in both weather conditions

Good stuff! If there is on thing that I have learned from you over the past few years it is to always have a Swim jig tied on. I do the same pattern you rec, Something Fast, Slow, Finesse, and something big...I just add a swim jig to make it 5. THis week starts the Extreme BAss serise in Florida, Orange Lake division, I will have a Plopper / Buzzbait rod, a Texas rig for crashing mats, a drop shot / wacky rig, and glide bait...and finally a Swimjig with a Zoom speed crawl. Going to be COLD...but there is a TON of grass on Orange, so we are going to focus on that warmer water and slowing down.

If you need hot pink trailers similar to the types you mentioned, let us know. Great vid detailing the swim jig.

Besides a normal jig and chatterbait bite..swim jigs can invoke a massive strike when fished correctly! 😎

Thanks for the great breakdown. Love swim jig fishing on the upper Mississippi River. I like to use a big 4 or 5 " curly tail grub

There’s a local guy who makes a killer swim jig (and other great baits) under the Bassdope name. Custom head, all hand tied, amazing colors.

I would love to catch fish on a swim jig but it always feels like i have to reel it back too fast because of the weight. I guess I've always thought you had to "swim" it in the water back you. Another video I'd like to see you do is how to determine how fast your lure lure is sinking. I always count it down 1 ft per second.

Awesome swimjig tips, Thank you. The Blue Rock 1099XL jig black/blue does great at East Harbor, but i can't cover water like a swimjig. Floating worm, eh. My wife got her 7lb PB on a floating worm(K&E Bass Stopper) Are you going to have the Finn booth at the Ohio Fishing Expo in Columbus this year? I will be hanging with Wendell again. I need a Finn sunshirt. , love the gloves. Need a pink trailer? Try a Big Joshy Swimbait , they have hot pink. I'll drop a pack off.

Thanks for this. Swim jig is not an option I use often but will definitely give this s try. Confirm: replace a chatterbait/spinnerbait with a swim jig on a very calm day or in high pressure conditions? Less vibration = slightly less noisy presentation that still covers water?

I just watched your video on knots and line sizes before this one. My biggest question, as a bank fisherman, is on these 10-14lb line applications are you still able to boat flip the fish or do you need to hand them up? I'd like to throw some different lures on lighter line I just dont know how far I can trust it. Thanks for all the info Tyler.

A worm on the back of a swim jig can be deadly.

Is Mosquito bank angler friendly?
@Freakdog6616 күн бұрын
@Cornelius798 in places it is. It's got a lot of grass in summer which could discourage some people
@Cornelius79816 күн бұрын
@Freakdog66 thanks, I'm ok with fishing grass area's.
@Freakdog6616 күн бұрын
@Cornelius798 I tow 30 min East on rt 305 to Shenango in W.PA most times. It doesn't receive the tournament pressure and it has Largemouth, Smallmouth and Hybrids. And not 1 blade of grass. It's just my preference. Bring your braid for Mosquito. And Mosquito has a killer Rattletrap bite at ice out. I kill them in 36-40 degree water before grass reaches the surface. Which also makes it easier to hit from the bank

@RascalMcGovens17 күн бұрын
@johnstarcevich2734 columbia pfg, rei, and Eddie bauer come in tall sizes. I've had good luck with Simms, North Face, and Free Fly, and how their xl sizes fit, as long as I'm extra careful with how they are washed and dried. Im 6'5 180lb so my issue is more so legth.

Tyler this is just one man’s opinion but I struggle to watch a whole video you put out due to the length. I subscribe to another channel and 95% of his videos are 5 minutes or less. You have very good info but the vids are a bit long.
