🇮🇸SWIMMING IN HRUNALAUG, THE HIDDEN NATURAL HOT SPRINGS IN ICELAND! (No Tourists!)

Hrunalaug Hot Springs - Whilst exploring the Southern Coast of Iceland, we go on a mission through snow and ice to find a true natural hot spring, not just some tourist trap, but a real hot spring in the Countryside of Iceland, and we were not disappointed.
Starting off at Gulfoss Waterfall, we tread snow as we admire the beauty and power of Gulfoss waterfall, whilst learning some amazing facts about its origins.
Just another amazing day travelling across the uniquely wonderful Iceland.

Try the public swimming pools, warm pools, steam room, hot tubs and cold tub. 1250 ISK usually, good value and really warm you up. Hveragerði has a good one and a geothermal park

We wanted to find a hot spring in Iceland that's not a busy tourist destination. We wanted to find somewhere special, somewhere natural, quiet and in a rural location... We found it!

We went to Iceland last year it’s absolutely stunning with a unique landscape hot springs geysers and volcanoes it’s the land of fire and ice and one for the bucket list unmissable

I was at Gulfoss nearly 40 years ago, no visitor centre then, and we just walked to the edge of the waterfall!!
