Swimming in the Langtang River | Rural Nepal Local Family | Langtang Valley Trek Nepal🇳🇵| Day 5&6

What’s the best motivator for hiking with kids (or anyone, really)? PIZZA! In this video, we pack our bags and hike back through the Langtang Valley. We have blue skies and nice crips hiking weather. What took us three days to hike to, we will hike back in two days. We hike past the beautiful stupas, momma yaks with their babies, and colorful villages. We stop at the tea houses we had visited earlier in the week and head back into the forests. We then enjoy the opportunity to meet a rural Nepal local family and learn about life in rural Nepal. Our adventure is coming to an end, and we can’t be more excited to have taken this journey together as a family. As we head back to Kathmandu, our kids are hyper focused on filling up on some of Nepal’s best wood fired pizza at The Roadhouse. We end the night with a delicious meal and hot showers. This is going to be a trip that our family talks about for years to come.

We are the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly with our three children. We sold our home in Alaska, USA, seven years ago, and headed overseas. We are teachers and found fantastic teaching positions in India. Two years later, we moved to the United Arab Emirates. Three years after that, during the beginning of the pandemic, we made the move to our current teaching jobs in Indonesia. We love traveling and finding adventures as a family. We hope that our travels will inspire and provide our children with the confidence to meet new people, try new foods, and enjoy learning a new language. Not sure if you're already aware of it or not but your guide failed to mention this in video, all i heard about dharma wheels was it is for good luck every time you asked him, which is really very shallow explanation. those prayer wheels or dharma wheels or the prayer flags wrapped around stones or flags tied up high in the mountains, trees etc they all have one thing in common and that is the prayers or the mantra or the chantings written on them. The idea is that if its a wheel thing that can be spun then when you spin them it's equivalent of reciting those mantra yourself. And if its a prayer flag tied high up somewhere it means the prayers are spread (manifested or like a spell protecting something ) all around (understand it like a speaker that is playing prayer music and spreading the chantings across all corners so everyone can hear and be blessed, but here its players flags with prayers written on it and air is spreading this, like an antenna is broadcasting invisible signals and at some end receivers are receiving the signal : its philosophical hope you understood the idea)

Wow the meeting rural Nepali part was very good. These part of your videos are always very interesting(apart from you guys hiking 4 hours straight or 6 hours straight as well as going directly into the centre of a crowded place) and i hope they go on and on and on...
