Tietah Trick is to relax and keep your stomach out of the water. Also some small hand movements help. I think your problem as well is you start putting your head out of the water which instantly makes your feet sink. But you’re probably a way better swimmer than me so I don’t even know why I’m telling you this

i remember in my swimming lessons, there were two teachers, and towards the end the teachers would take everyone to the diving boards as like a final test or something. but here’s the thing: i had a deathly phobia of heights at the time. and so every year, i was scared half dead, and while i was on the diving board, gathering my courage to jump, they just pushed me in - kinda like your brother. so that sucked.
