conveyor belts would have been faster and cheaper, that was a tight fit

We have done about 5,000 of them (not a flex, just speaking off experience) and this is the most efficient and cost-effective way. Using two machines allows us to take one bucket of dirt in, and one bucket of debris out (once demo starts). This allows us to run 1 machine in the pool doing the demo, and two machines going back and forth with dirt and debris. This allows us to not have to spend the cost on conveyors and we finish in approx. 4 days because we are completing 2 tasks simeltaneously. Using conveyors, we would need 2 of them to finish in the same amount of time … let me explain… We would need 1 machine still in the pool doing demo, another one in the backyard loading up the first conveyor with debris heading to the front yard to be loaded to an export truck, and a third machine in the front yard loading up dirt on a secondary conveyor going into the backyard. It just becomes a total cluster F*. It caused additional charge for the home owner, we have less working space on the job, and it will take longer which means more labor expense and machine maintenance cost. It might seem like the right thing to use conveyor, but if a machine fits .. it wins financial and operationally every single time.

I think y'all would have been better off shoveling and using a couple wheel barrow for that job. And or using the e other driveway
@pooldemo5 жыл бұрын
Hey! Thanks for the feedback. The run from the front yard to the back is about 150' long, by using a wheel burrow and shovels - we would have prolonged the job by 1.5 days (and required 2 additional laborers), thus increasing the job by more than $2,750. By using tight access machines we are able to finish quicker, more efficiently, and keep costs low. There was only one driveway, but the POD Storage was in the way, and we were instructed to not touch or move it. Thanks, Bobby Frisch

Everybody thinks they're an expert until they actually run the numbers or in your case you run it for them, LOL same reason I bought an S70... It never calls in sick and it's never late either. Imagine that.
