Yeah Jasper is the brooding white knight. I feel that more vampires should be somewhat hostile to him, Nos are hideous, barely respected, nor trusted for the most part, as they are very mercenary in general. Jasper should get that prejudiced hostility from other kindred more often but they treat him like he is prince charming.

I thought much the same. He is obviously not much verses in Vamp lore as a newbie! The discovery of this potential weakness ultimately allows the Lasombra to split the coterie and evade pursuit. Nelli, Allebelle, the Valkrye, the flamethrower witch Kyoti, and Chelsea and some bodyguard ghouls could have pursued them or Ironically "shadowed" them. I don't know how she teleported but it is only about 50m max. Anyone with sense the unseen can still operate against them. This was their Battle of the Midway. a hot pursuit after several defeats could result in sinking one or two of their carriers who had used up resources and time.

I felt like she was thinking "You anarchs are the same as the camarilla, just unorganized". Mb it could have gone much better had they known her motivation...

it really does show you how good of a storyteller Jason is when the majority of this episode is most of them dancing and talking but its still so intense and both of the Lasombra's make you hang on their every word wondering what they are up to.

It’s funny how far people will leap in order to blame Annabelle for everything. When did she bring Mark into the club? He showed up without telling anyone, then told Chelsea that Victor was his dad while they were surrounded by other kindred (not blaming him either, he’s new) Annabelle’s only fault is that she turned him into a ghoul in the first place, but she did it with both permission and, in my opinion, a good reason.

I love this series. I look forward to it every week. But I have a bone to pick. SPOILERS: . . . . . . . Vampires: If you're going to be monsters, BE monsters when you're dealing with other monsters. Especially when your very unlives are on the line. You KNOW the Scourge WILL kill. You know the Scourge WILL torture. Asking the Scourge about it's feelings, motivations and such IN COMBAT is tantamount to trying to negotiate with an alligator...or in this specific episode's title, a Shark. Pull. The. Trigger. You are - in fact - at WAR. So if you're going to put a knife to the throat of a Scourge - USE it. Don't cry, argue, or have an existential crisis. Stop fighting among yourselves. This is an ex-Sabbat killer. It won't afford you the luxury of having a good cry before it just ends you. BE the anarch leader you're supposedly propped up to be. BE the modern mobster you're supposed to be. BE the spy you're supposed to be. BE the "bad man from your past". Because if you don't, best get a shop-vac ready, because you'll fill it with the ashes of those you care about - the other side will NOT suffer your delay. They'll act. They already have. They tried burning you out of your haven. Hunters abound. There's TWO Scourges. A new Sheriff. They'll clean up your allies. Eva will die. Mark will die. Chelsea will die. The Weird Sisters will die. Everyone will die. And you'll likely cry right up to the point where you'll die too. I'm starting to root for the Scourge. She's charming, courageous, daring, and has zero issue with taking care of business. There's no puffery backed up by mortal soldiers, false titles of leadership, sowing of doubt from within or unneeded drama. She's why the Ivory Tower will win unless there's some sort of narrative armor. She's why the Lasombra were (and still are) feared. Time for the Anarchs to nut up. Vivat Lasombra.

What an astounding episode! Jason Carl, you have outdone even your wonderful self! I didn't even know one could reach those levels of storytelling mastery, not to mention the perfectly dark slickness of Aurora. Been missing a meaningful and direct villain's presence since Chaz was given his final death but that Lasombra takes the cake! You are an inspiration to us all aspiring storytellers and the way you handle the multiple interesting characters is unsurpassed. Also, strong appreciation for a marvellous duality of suspense in both parts of the episode - the slow, methodical and psychological "bright" part and the fast-paced, desperate "dark" part. The coterie has been dealt a meaningful blow, both to their crew and their morale. This is were Camarilla has finally shown "ok, now we get serious". Wow, just wow!

Yeah I love Jason style storytelling, actually I just love how the whole manner of this shows conducted. So I like watching Matt Mercer but I enjoy Jason Carl and the players way more.
