Today I was body shamed by an ignorant teenager though I told him exactly what I thought about his rude behaviour, people tend to forget we have feelings and our size does not define who we are inside. I have a medical condition which affects my weight 😢

For most of my life, I was bone skinny. 5'8" and 105 pounds. I got skinny shamed almost every day. In retirement, I've gained weight. Not one person has said a word about it. Strange, isn't it? It's been backwards for me. I know the weight thing from both sides and you're right. We're all different because of genetics. None of us can change that. Nobody can explain to me how weight, skin tone, or money affect my value as a human being.

They are nice ways to help someone realize you don't have their size ... Ask if you can help her. Then ask if she's purchasing for herself. Then inform her that you carry sizes from x to z. All with a polite & friendly attitude. If you are just trying to help her, be sure she leaves with that impression. 😅

That Mrs Palmer is both annoying and funny. LOL. Eversince Mair, Sarah, and Carlos left Dhamn Man, they had been appearing in more channels and playing more diverse roles. I have seen them in Supermission and Goodwerks too. The actor who played the homeless guy is also from DM, as well as the store manager. I think its better to be a freelancer than to get stuck in just one channel.

The attitude of the shop attendant remind of a girl from the Philippines that I met online some years ago, I asked her how the tagalog aka filipino (that has been the national language of the philippines since 1937) was written and she replied with "we don't speak tagalog we speak bisayan" just like how the rude shop attendant was snapping at the customer by saying "we don't have bathing suits in your size" as well as "fat people shouldn't buy bathing suits". But what reason does people for behaving like that? Back then I was only familiar with tagalog and I had no idea that the spanish had introduced the filipinos to a filipino version of the latin alphabet when they arrived in the 15th century, so I didn't know how it was written, so I asked her. But all I got was her snapping at me with her "we don't speak tagalog we speak bisayan" answer, even though she would well aware of the obvious facts that I stated a couple sentences ago.

There are many reasons people can be overweight & body shaming is not cool !! However saying that to promote obesity & encouraging people who over indulge- gluttony- is not cool either !
