Swing arm removal - Yamaha Tenere 700

Hi guys!
Made a loooong video about swing arm removal and install.
Stay with me, made som errors 🤣 but it all is corrected in text.
Will make a new video when I replace sprockets and chain that will be way shorter and no errors in from my side.
For the swing adjustment nut you need a 15mm Allen/hex or the Yamaha Engine alignment tool 90890-11097. Not expensive at all.

Thanks!! Yes my thought also, been planning of doing this video for 6 months 😂, just never came too it until now. Will make a new version that is more precise and shorter, when I replace my chain and sprockets.

Great video, thanks for uploading. I've got a new World Raid and I'm just doing this job now after 1000 miles only, just because I'm having the spring rates changed on my forks and shock. Your video has helped me a lot. Just checked your videos and can't see one there on servicing the steering head bearings, have you done a video on that? Thanks again for uploading, Alex

Here you go, all values are in the service manual, downloadable on most FB groups, or email me and I can share it. Swing arm adj bolt 7Nm Swing arm bolt 110Nm Rear shock Upper and lower nut 45Nm Linkage Dog bone nuts 48Nm Link arm upper 60Nm

Im stuck on the special tool allen hole, what is an alternative without the speacial tool? I have a 14mm allen and its impossible even making it fatter with tape

@@everythingtenere yes its a 15 but i couldnt find a 15 in any stores its a non standard number

@@elionh4532 bummer. The adjustment nut is not hard to unscrew, but then again if tape on a 14mm isn’t working, then it will be hard anyways. The engine alignment tools 15mm is really sharp on its mating edges, and a normal 14 has somewhat rounded edges. De if you kan find a bolt head that is 15
