i think the most basic thing you have to do to BEGIN mastering is air tricks. Spamming them helps recharge the dash and jump, but (at least for 0 swing assist which I’ve had since game launch) you can’t just quit out whenever, the spiderman has to finish the animation. It’s easier with the side spinning ones imo, but colin does a great job using the dash/jump to get our of it as well as timing his swings. Also, you have to calculate the physics formula for a pendulum before you start every swing.

When someone posts 0 swing assist, we expect that they take into account better actual swinging, not just consistent gliding over and over. that's the whole point of the swing assist itself. If you turn it off, it is harder to SWING. and in this entire video, the thing that really shows off his mastery isn't the speed, its how he manages to pull off doing those loops without slamming into the building. other than that, it felt like a fever dream to watch, and kinda disappointing considering the title. other videos can show better mastery of that swing assist lvl 0 without using gliding like this

A lot of that looks really cool especially the bridge clips, but sometimes you do this thing that just comes off a little extra like opening and closing the web wings immediately or incorporating the gound pound which kinda ruins the flow for me.

I can give a few tips if you move the analog stick left or right depending on what building you want to swing from as well as moving the camera to what building you want Spider-Man to swing from allows for more control over where his web will land on the building as well as what building he swings from it gives more control to where the webs land rather than it just being randomly attached to the closest building this comes in handy especially when swinging very low to the ground

Were already seeing what tons of badass web swingers are going just 3 weeks into the game. Mix corner tethers, slingshots, web slam canceling, appropriate use of web wings, and you unironically will go quicker in this game, then you can in SM2, and at its max, your competitive with endgame Web of Shadows. Like the same people who complain about skill, complain about how your momentum isn't preserved when you hit the ground(aka the punishment for not timing your swings correctly).

Obviously a crazy amount of skill here - I can't do anything on this game speed. One fun extra challenge for swings - no web wings and no dashes. I sort of feel like they're "cheating" (although, of course, Spidey does have web wings in some of the comics/films, so you can argue against that "rule" with some good material in your corner). Anyway, it means you can't go anywhere near this fast, but it adds some challenge.
