Id still argue lebron Needs 1 More Ring Imo, only because he said hes chasing mj , if it wasnt for that tho he wouldnt need to prove anything. But Steph Definitley Doesnt have anything else to prove. If Kd Doesnt win another ring or atleast makes a finals again You could legitimately call his career dissapointing. Kyrie IMO Has Kind of already overdelivered in his career, another finals would help but honestly id kinda argue he doesnt have anything else to prove either. He has a ring rookie of the year all star mvp 3 point champion and 50/40/90 member. Hes honestly already good. Even Russ id argue has already proven enough imo, him winning a ring as a role player would prove hes a winning player, but his game just isnt suitable to be a role player, he cant shoot or play defense. So tbh his career is already kinda proven. He went from a average college player to an mvp thats pretty good imo.

David West was still one of the best big men in the league in the low post and McGee was a serious upgrade from Ezeli at the backup who had also just come back from a long injury in the Finals when Bogut went down. Pachulia was also tough and would help them to be able to bang with Cleveland. Had Barnes re-signed with the team I don't think he would've been as quiet two Finals straight (he really was almost ineffective the entire playoffs that year and might have been dealing with an injury or fatigue because his play was just off the entire postseason) Personal opinion, the Warriors were coming back stronger either way...

The bucks had gotten the 7th game in a 7 game east road trip, in which a team has never gone 7-0 in NBA history and the warriors were 6-0. Bucks literally made 24-1 shirts, it was arguably a top 10 most important regular season games in nba history because of that and because Giannis was emerging as a young star in the league back then. The bucks winning that game felt like a surreal playoff experience and honestly, it started a sort of Rivalry the Bucks have with Golden State now. Man those 2016 finals meant a fucking lot to me. Bit of a story - Growing up Lebron was my favorite NBA player without a doubt, probably just athlete period (I’m old now, but I was a little too young to have gotten to see any of MJ in his prime). I also grew up with 2 little brothers who tended to look up to me, so they became massive Lebron fans as well when they were kids. So much so that all 3 of us brothers first NBA game ever was when our dad took us all to see Lebron play in Cleveland (I think it was his second year). Our dad actually knew someone in the organization , and somehow his buddy got it set up for all of us to come watch the team do a shoot around/ walk through deal the afternoon of the day before the game. Long story short Lebron must have saw all 3 of us kids in there fan boying out on him, and all of us wearing his 23 Cavs jersey. after the practice, I remember it vividly because of how shocked I was, Lebron beelined it straight over to us, said hello, talked to us for a minute about basketball, shook all of our hands, and signed each of our jerseys for all 3 of us. A memory that I will never forget. My dad was an MJ guy, but after Lebron was so nice to all 3 of us as kids he would root for him like no other. By 2016 my 3 brothers and I had grown up graduated different colleges, one still in school, and moved to different parts of the country for work. Well it just so happened that our father had passed away the same day as game 1 of the 2016 Finals 😢. So by a sad occurrence we had all 3 ended up united back together at our parents house for the funeral. So we ended up watching the 2016 finals together at our parents house, reminiscing about our first NBA game together that dad had taken us too. When the cavs went down 3-1 we were bummed, but it seemed so minor, we were all just happy to be watching it together, drinking some beers, and talking about our dad memories. But then game 5 the cavs win, and we joked about how crazy would it be if the Cavs came back and won the next 2. With one of my brothers joking “clearly, Lebron knows dad passed away, and is going to pull it together to win this one in honor of him” we laughed. But then game 6 and finally game 7 they win it all and we freaked out. The three of us have talked about it afterwards, being reunited for a really tough time, and then getting this amazing 2016 finals with all of us together at our parents house drinking, and sharing memories, just I don’t know if can put into words what that meant to me and my family then, or what it stills means to us today. Lebron, and this series will always have a place near to my heart.

I think you're absolutely right and I sort of agree with looking back at it think about Steph curry now compared to 2016 he is a lot more stronger now and can absorb a lot more contact without getting bumped off his spots. LeBron James is a much better consistent jumper shooter now compared to the beginning of his career when teams dared him to shoot and now six years later both Steph curry and LeBron James both are deadlock at four rings Is insane to me now seeing it to this day.🏀💯🤔
