Swiss Alps Gliding: vintage glider bungee launch + Archaeopteryx bonus

Love watching some of the older planes. What makes me giddy though is seeing the alps in valley where I made cheese one summer when I was young. Bungee launch seems fine with such a well positioned slope.

What a great video. Thanks for your previous/separate replies. I was a bit worried about the parking location of the 4 cars when you started to explain how strong the wind was that day. I'd be tempted to park away from underneath the final 200 mtrs of the approach to a landing - but I guess nobody landed short. A 2 hours soaring flight sounds like a fun day. Hope you get some nice soaring flights this summer.

The landing was on a public field, and a few people did not care too much about us. Apart from the wind, we lucked out with the weather for mid September!

Has anyone operated an Archaeopteryx in the UK yet?

I am not aware of any being sold to UK, I know they fly in Austria, France, Australia besides Switzerland. I think only 30 or so have been built.
