Actually, that's not quite right. In the Vision Jet, flaps and gear still need manual control from the pilot. It’s not quite at the 'auto-land' level just yet, despite how advanced it is. You might want to double-check that feature - unless you’re flying in a sci-fi movie!

Yes. It sets the squawk code to 7700, and declares an emergency using voice synthesis on the current frequency. It will also announce the emergency, and switch to an appropriate frequency (CTAF, tower, etc) when it's close to the chosen airfield. It also waits for a gap in radio traffic to avoid talking over anyone... That's pretty neat.

I'm fairly sure those are still done manually, but it tells the passengers what to do and when. Some Garmin Emergency Autoland versions include instructional videos for the passengers.

Yes it does. It's a bit tricky because in reality, once the gear and flaps are automatically deployed, the gear and flaps levers in the cockpit are not actuated and are therefore not representative of the actual gear and flaps position anymore. But the autoland function is anyway a last resort emergency feature. If a pilot would ever have to activate it, he would probably lose his licence...
