Just went there, it was freezing down there (12°C, had to wear a hoodie) and the interior was fascinating to say the least... Romania is a beautiful country.

Ive been here the place is Targul Ocna Romania (I think) where you have to buy tickets to get to the mine with a bus full of people. The best part is the inside where you can do many fun things.
@swissclimber12 жыл бұрын
Yes you can even ride bicycle and carts inside

@@swissclimber1 ah rick steeves did us dirty (ok a little bit dirty, nothing compared to how anthony bourdain did his show) tbf. protrayed romania as the 'place where you can feel as outside of europe as ever without leaving the continent of europe' - i mean the guy went to a gypsy village to film tin makers....

Why did they add the bird chirping?
@swissclimber16 жыл бұрын
To fool people that there is a bird down here LOL. I was looking for it for a few seconds but realize they added it to calm people down with a familiar sound
@thasdavin81346 жыл бұрын
swissclimber1 thanks for replying! I always thought it was to calm people down! It's kinda strange we need something like that when we are in an unfamiliar place. Do you think when space travel is commercialized we will hear birds soar as we break from our own atmosphere into the unknown?... Anyways, great video!!

It's a psychological thing that helps with some people having issues being in an environment like this. There was an medical based article i read about it, but i can't find it anymore.

Aoa brother in Pakistan, in our area more than 300 mines are producing world highest quality salt, one mine produce 500 Metric ton in a day. We produce more than 1.5 lac metric ton in a single day. Its the lowest production from salt aranges and ranked overall on 3rd in Pakistan salt markets.

Yes. But the first issue will be you will have to get onboard a bus somehow the old fashioned step/up and down way. Most of the cave floor is smooth but not road smooth. You'll be able to around most parts of the cave
