I would love to see a video about modeling things around existing objects, that would be really helpful!

You're certainly not alone, Wermy, so don't think it's abnormal to feel demotivated or uncertain during these times. Stay strong, think of better times to come, and above all...CARRY ON!

I, like you, thought, "Fantastic!! I'll just work on all my projects." It worked for a while, and I did get a few pushed further down field, but I definitely noticed that I started to close down a bit as the quarenteen went on. It didn't last forever though and I would get days here and there of flow that felt good. Thanks for asking and sharing. It is good to know that others are having a shared experience.

That monitor stand is something that I'd personally enjoy, my current stand is nice but its too short. Thanks for sharing the projects!

I hope you stay healthy and it’s understandable how hard it is to stay positive. I put my gameboy zero project on pause a while ago because of work and I thought I would have more time now to finish it since I’m home a lot more, but similar to you this pandemic is taking its toll on my anxiety. I instead upgraded my PC to play games with friends and have been playing animal crossing none stop on my switch. Wish you the best!

I've recently hit a road block with what project to work on so I thought let me get my printer bed squared away. I bought some mirrors from Home Depot and about 2 weeks later I made corner pieces to hold the bed in place. Everything works great but I hit another road block. I have lost some motivation to continue working on my RPi portable, I've stopped working on my custom 3d printer project, I've been unmotivated and I don't know why. I'm back working in my office but I'm busier than ever which could be why. Still, I'm trying to do something with my personal time when my wife and son want their own personal time. I started printing the Iron Man Mark 50 broken mask from Endgame today and I'm a bit happy again which is awesome. I'd love to finish it all the way as long as I can stay motivated to finish. Best of luck to you as well.

It’s good to hear from you! I love the projects you posted in this video. I need to get a 3D printer already. My job was considered “essential” so I have been working just as much, if not more. I thought that I wouldn’t be affected mentally, but it’s actually still been very difficult because I usually go out with friends on the weekend, and I haven’t been able to see any of them in quite awhile. Doing projects in my free time has been a welcome distraction for me.

Would replacing my old Nintendo Switch’s battery with the new Nintendo Switch battery work?
@ajb0304 жыл бұрын
@@Breathdeep0k I don't see why it wouldn't function, but you won't get the battery life of the new switch. The increase in battery life comes from a different, more power efficient processor in the new switch.

Hi wermy! If you do make one for the full size switch, I’d love a walkthrough if how you modeled it to fit so well! It looked like you modeled around some sort of model but I would love to see exactly how you did it because that was so seamless it look like it was officially made. Thanks!

I took an old Mac mouse and converted to an optical mouse with wireless charging. I used the type of wireless charging pad you used for it. You can easily cut away the plastic pad that conceals the coil so that you can fit it into smaller spaces.

I hear you about the motivation issues. I’ve been trying to power through it and I forced myself to make a bunch of videos. Still haven’t edited many yet but I think forcing myself actually helped. It was like a fake it till you make it moment. Suddenly I was more motivated again once I finished a project. Hopefully it lasts, though!

Despite how tough things are at the minute, you look great, hopefully we start to see some normality soon. Like others were asking, i'd love to see your process on creating the models you use for 3d printing, your dimensional accuracy is quite good so I think it would be great to see how you tackle something like that.

Being "essential" didn't give me the home time as much as I thought. Working from home on Thursdays and Fridays was a bonus though. Tried to finish my work by Wednesday so all I had to do was man my email and answer calls when I was at home. Got a little printing done during that but walking by any TV that was on and tuned to the news killed most of the good vibes. Managed to get some of my custom minty faceplates done but not as many as I would have liked.

We have a fusion 3d printer I think my husband has lost motivation he hasn't been able to work out the kinks so our 6000 + printer goes unused. We got it to supplement our income it's not doing anything just sitting there. He's self taught in cad but cad has evolved and trying to find free program or app that works well with our 3d printer I think it's been a challenge. My husband would be a good project and you need a motivator
