I would like to stream live footage d within a web-app I've built. Will RTSP make this possible? Or is there another cheap camera good for doing this? (I want to use it to monitor 3d printing)

RTSP will make it possible. I have no ETA on this yet but all I can confirm that is already in works

Thx for review. Are you forced to use their cloud service? I always prefer option to record locally

You can use SD card, but for now they don't have RTSP or similar. When asked about it, the reply was "not for this model" which indicates that something might be in works.

@@notenoughtech you think it's likely they won't put the feature on this model via firmware update correct? While I cannot stream is it possible to retrieve video footage on demand from different locations?

You can browse the footage from the app that is stored on your SD card then record and save it to your phone the bits you are interested in

Check if the card is formatted correctly. Use the menu in the app to format it if needed

Well, Since Wyze is DUMPING all their V1 fixed CAM's I am replacing them with SwitchBot for now. Jut as "good" as Wyze V1 fixed cams and easier to access with LESS FALSE alarms! Been really disappointed with Wyze lately! Their APP. SUCKS as all my my cameras are constantly showing up as "disconnected" even with the V3 cameras!

I never tried wyze so I can't comment on that performance but switchbot has been pretty good. They have new cam in making

Hopefully they won't get acquired by apple, amazon or Google. Those three tend to ruined these companies after acquisition
