To everyone that complains about this song not being a "Christian Song": it doesn't have to be. You can priase God without singing Christian music. As long as you do your music to the best of your ability and give the glory to God when you're done with it then you're praising him with your music. Switchfoot may not have made this song specifically Christian but I'm sure if you ask them they'll give the glory to God.

I do not see where this is not a message inspired from Love&Hope&Perseverance. Just because the name Jesus/God ain't there, doesn't make it any less Christian. Perhaps the meaning of DarkHorses brings uncertainty. It refers to a perceived underdog emerging victorious.
