I miss live shows and baseball too! I’ve been several times to Padres games at Petco Park! I’m a Dodgers fan though. It’s all good. I can’t wait to go again! Every time they play I’m there! Brew Bear Brewer I think he's playing in drop D here. Also, left hand is muting most, if not almost the full chord, letting just a bit of it shine through. Its called a scatting. He's also adding a bit of scratching too. It's just a driven percussive sound with a bit of the chord. It's kinda like that percussive ”Card in string” idea by Johny Cash. He's implementing percussive aspects on purpose because the song is percussive driven. Also, his Gibson acoustic is awesome for stuff like this! A low action acoustic with good strings all on an aged flat top..it gets the job done! I have a Gibson Hummingbird and I can vogue to say playing like in this video is possible and is super cool!
