An Irish tip.. How to clean your stove door glass! Take some kitchen paper roll. Wet one bundle (slightly) , dip the wet paper into the ash in the grate and start rubbing the glass until all the black is wet. Then use the second bundle of paper to clean the glass. No more scraping.

Hello. You have this stove for over a year now, are you happy with it ? No breakdown ? It's not too noisy ? This model interests me a lot but on the internet the reviews are not very good... But it's known, angry people speak louder than others so I don't know if I should trust it ! Can you give me your opinion please ?
@MyPlayHouse2 жыл бұрын
Well it is burning in the background,, use it every day,, now where it is cold! I did have an issue that one of the two feeding spindles stopped working,, and I had to open a case with the company. They told me that it was a known problem,, and it was the front panel with the two buttons,, that slides down and a connector will be shorted and mess with the elektronic. I removed the panel, put a bit of insulating tape around the connector. and no issues sinces. It is a bit noisy running on pallets. Now I mostly use the pallets to start it, and burn wood when it is up and running.

Great video...just installed my own H1 and I must say I am impressed of the functionality. After a few days of burning pellets it hits me that there is coming quiet a lot of noise from it's fan in particular. What do you think would be possible of the following....To place the fan (prolonged cables) in another room or outside...whatever is behind the ovens wall, with a canal through it? Or maybe just switch it with the most silent computer-fan 120mm 2-pin solution. Maybe it also would be possible to isolate some of the dead space inside the lower compartment of it? Any thoughts? :)

Hi I see you've been using aduro h1 for a while now. I am facing a dilemma whether to buy Aduro hH1 or maybe Aduro 9.5. In one of the comments you wrote that you burn wood most of the time. After almost 2 years using Aduro H1, do you think it was a good idea to replace from Aduro 9? I am curious how the stove works when burning only pellets.
@MyPlayHouse2 жыл бұрын
Well,, I was just yesterday looking if I could get a second H1, for my new house in Portugal,, so I am happy with the H1. I use it this way, I kut in some fire wood, and just press ON,, It will turn on the pallets,, and after a bit the fire wood will also be burning well, and it will automatically turn off the pallets (the pallets has gone up in prices) when the fire wood is dying out, the pallets will start up again,, and I will go and put in more wood, and it starts over.
@djhummeluhr4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for a great video. Can see you've had it for a few months now. Do you have any long-term review / input? I'm strongly considering this myself, but am a little apprehensive about whether it mostly just shifts the practical work from lighting to filling and tidying up instead. and then the lack of siri / google / ifttt integrations is a bit annoying. It is only to be used as a supplementary heat source and cosiness in the living room i my situation - but really thinks it is appealing that it can light itself :)
@MyPlayHouse3 жыл бұрын
It could be cool if siri could turn it on :-/ I use it all the time,, and it is bloody cold right now, and it gives out a good heat. I usually fill it up with wood, and turn it on,, that makes a good fire rather fast.
