Everyone loves YNAB, but I just use a simply spreadsheet, of tracking, and basic budget categories and it works for me. I like Caleb, it would be nice if he explained a budget, having a limit(do you really want to spend 200 dollars on taquitos? ) mindful spending and actually spending $$ on what you really want. I agree having the bank at the same place as your auto loan makes it easy to pay extra.

I do still love YNAB, but I also think it's okay that different tools and methods work for different people. And I agree, although I do think Caleb goes into more detail with his guests after the show and actually helps them create budgets and helps educate them on their finances. But man, some of those episodes are hard to watch haha.
