Interesting thanks for the info. It’s possible. I flew twice since changing the oil tightening coolant clamps and haven’t smelt any coolant or been able to see any coolant at the bottom of the pump like before. But too early to tell if issue is gone or not.

5W-50 fully synthetic oil is very good. I use it in my 4-stroke Vespas and my cars with combustion engines. Nice to see another video. How is the Tesla holding up? Greetings from T. in Norway.

@@t.w.3 that’s great to hear you like it. Tesla is an awesome winter car. Love it.

Any chance your coolant leak is coming from a weep hole on the bottom of the water pump housing? If so, it could be the first sign of a failing water pump seal. I just happened to read a post on the Rotax Owner forum recently about these leaks and the process of replacing the seal, so it was somewhat fresh in my mind.

Vivid oil colour! I wonder if we'll change to that in our a/c?

It's approved for I believe all the 9 series engines now, it's got a lot of benefits going for it, so I'd expect most people to switch to it.

Rotax recommends 100 hours interval if you fly less than 30% of the time on AVgas.
@DarrylZubot6 күн бұрын
@@flexairz yes this is what the book says. Talk to your local rotax service shop and see what they say. Ours recommend 50hrs no matter what fuel you put in

Were you still airborne when you put air brakes in fully deployed position ?
@DarrylZubot7 күн бұрын
@@ericzoop7575 no I usually put them fully deployed after touch down. It just plants the aircraft on the ground.
