Thanks mate, nice tutorial. By the way, the plug-in does not import the PBR Sequencer properly on UE5.5

brilliant ! let me try too... cheers from RIo

@@romanbruni I did a follow up where I found a trick to cast shadows. Just a setting tweak in Unreal. And Blender seems to work better casting shadows onto the subject itself. I'm sure there is a setting for Unreal to allow it, let me know if you get better results!

I also only have been seeing it for blender and I was wondering if it worked for ue! Thanks for this!

Hello. I create an empty sequence, although I do everything exactly as in the video. the video does not appear instead of the black screen
@RobertDodrill21 күн бұрын
See 11:06, you have to open the PBR Sequencer that was automatically created on import for it to display properly.

@@RobertDodrill I created a PBR sequence, but the timeline is empty

@@ДмитрийМалюгин-й3с You should not have to create a new one yourself. When you import your folders it should automatically set one up. It'll be located in the "movies" folder it creates. Although if you're on UE 5.5 someone said it doesn't work right. My tests were on UE 5.4 before 5.5 released.

Great tutorial! Is there any way to create shadows?
@RobertDodrillАй бұрын
I tested it out and screen recorded. Should be posting the video up later today about it. But I did manage to figure out how to cast shadows from the material just not onto the material. But there's a weird glitch with trying to use the sun (directional light) for it. 100% could be user error though.
@@UltraPrimeProdigy I'll test that out, It'll create shadows on the actual subject itself. I assume it'll cast shadows as well but not sure. I'll fire up my test project today and let you know
Use the depth map as tesselation heightmap to give volume to catch backlight

@@timmygilbert4102 Is that by following something like this method? kzbin.info/www/bejne/qonHmIihbL9lmJYsi=mpAIvSkKUfYmu3fy

I wonder if you can add volume to the 2d plane and then try to create actual "3d shadows" in unreal engine (like having shadows off to the side of the 2d plane instead off limited to just front and back or even contact shadows with the 3d ground)

I love unreal speed render and its realtime render but its way behind normal 3d software in realism for film ....
