I think that the wall climb badge is just completely overshadowed by both the parachute and grappling hook badges. Since both of those can just scale walls infinitely, the wall climb genuinely has no advantage. Plus, you unlock the parachute one first, so it isn’t even a placeholder until you get a better badge. I think it has no practical use aside from the levels where it auto-equips. Number 23 in my book.

The parachute cap badge is like Peach’s floating ability in SMB2 and 3D World, and the spring jump badge is Ike the Spring Mushroom in the Galaxy games

The thing that you forgot to mention is jet run flutter jump and vine grapple hook thing could all climb up walls. flutter jump should be a lot higher.

They should have made a badge which reveals all character blocks all the time. Useful for those search party levels, and for finding secrets.

The badge i always used was the floating high jump badge most of the time, i did use other badges of course, but that was my main one.

Invisibility goes towards replayability, so i'd put it higher. Secret dialogue, harder levels.

I could not disagree with #2 more. I HATE that badge. It is incredibly annoying to use, not fun at all. To each their own but... no. #1 is correct. My brother and I basically used that one all the time once we got it. Makes it so easy to get the flagpoles. I love the badge but it is kind of unfortunate how much it ends up dwarfing many of the other badges once you get it.
