I have just watched this on my big tv, Carl you were right, it IS breathtaking. I was surprised when you first mentioned travelling to Switzerland, but I totally see it now. You really pushed yourself walking so much in that altitude as the air is so much thinner, but as usual you just went for it. It certainly is Dave and originally I was going to the Pyrenees but am so glad I went to Switzerland its so beautiful and so much to do there, I can't wsit to take the family. Gutted about dinner it would've been great if it had come out ok. Miles wise I didn't do as much as I had hoped and to most people it wasn't many miles anyway, im just so unfit. greets from a very, very hot Perpignan in France 😁👍

Nice one dude. Very different from Dartmoor! That big pack's gonna kill ya on a 35*C day! I feel like it's the same whenever I go camping - I wish I'd brought ultralight and made sure I didn't forget what I *actually* needed haha

Enjoyed that Carl, Switzerland is an amazing country and those views were spectacular- we went towards the end of June and did three sections of the Via Alpina it was hard but amazing 🤩 we want to go back next summer and do more but I’m awaiting approval from the mrs lol 😂, just wondering how long you are there for? And looking forward to the next instalments? ATB Mark & Simon 👍👌

Im really sorry for the late reply, I've been away on Holiday but am back now. It definitely is amazing am hoping to go back next year. I spent a night in a hotel on the way down 3 night's Camping in Switzerland then a night in hotel for last night before travelling back to England 😁👍
