I think it's a beautiful, clear, healthy, clean and aspirational place, where you could escape to the mountains. It's like Japan in some ways. My family went on a long holiday here, before I was born, in the 70s, and loved it, and I would dearly love to go, alongside Japan and Iceland.

As a Swiss citizen I have to say that your video is pretty nice to see. The only thing a regret in this video is the fact that it was filmed in what seems to be in autumn or winter when the weather and the landscape make the cities look sad and not so fun. Switzerland in spring time and in summer time is just beautiful when everything is green and flowery and winter is absolutely magical in the mountains when everything is covered with snow.

Having lived in different countries in Europe and America, Switzerland remains the best place to live. Yes it is expensive but that is relative as salaries are much higher. It is also boring for young people but because the country is so small, you can quickly go for a night out to Germany, France or Italy. What I love about this place is its organization. We pay taxes and we see them put to good use, which is uncommon in Central Europe (see Germany, France and above all, Italy).

Last time I went to Switzerland (Zurich) I seriously considered trying to find a path to legitimate citizenship. I think I have a Swiss heart. I went to high school in Lugano and did a year of College in Zurich. My wife says she never so me so sad to board a plane, and we’ve been to many very nice places, as well as some not so nice places.

it's NOT a FLAG, it's an ensign, it is square, not rectangular! In medieval times emperors and kings gathered their troops under a rectangular flag, the Swiss never had kings of any kind. - They fought first of all for their freedom ("no foreign reeves!"), then for the money (guerdon & loot) and at least for their prestige. - Swiss soldier squats gathering under their ensign with the white cross on a red field were feared throughout Europe; - they were a savage, brutal, notorious mob of lunatics who killed just for fun.

it may be a surprise, but the House of Habsburg ( switzerland's enemy for centuries) is by origin from the now canton Aargau. the colours and the cross in flag or ensign is taken from the arms of its founding canton Schwyz, and even the german name Schweiz

Like to correct all. All recognized nations (excepting the Vatican) have national "banners" which are rectangular (hence the "Star Spangled Banner). The only nation to have a national "flag" is CH. It is square. I believe the US military has a "Flag" Signal Corps, where in days gone by the physical flags used to send signals were square. Many naval "flags" are(?) / were square and raised to signal others ships. So "Banners" are rectangular and "Flags" are square. Whether in medieval times or present times.

I was in Grindelwald for an investor meeting and they beg me to move there as i just moved to Berlin and this was in the early 2000s but Berlin was a lot cheaper to live in as they just switch from DM to Euro,but i made out with a strong dollar as i bought furniture and gold and clothes, But anyway i hope to move one day to Zurich as i do love that country, thanks for video.
