Heya, cheers for the vids - getting so much done on my machine with your help - beers owed if you're ever down NZ way... So I'm keen to get a 3/4" drive 52mm socket for the nut job so I can avoid the reducing adaptor, but the OD on them is around 74mm, which I think is bigger than the 1/2" version specs I've found (69mm). Do you think 74mm will get in a puma era flange?

Yes it will, the Discovery axle only changed dramatically on the series 2. Totally different axle.

Hi! I have an early discovery and all my bearings were stuck on the stub axles, however on 3 of the wheels it was just the inner bearing, so i got the hubs off, but on one rear wheel they are both inner and outer bearing stuck on the axle. Any ideas how I could get the hub off? Its stuck on solid. Thanks in advance

+Hristian Tenches Use a 3 legged puller. If they are spun seized on the shaft or there is damage underneath the bearing on the shaft then the stub axle will need replacing. You didn't say if they were corroded on or not so I presume they aren't.

+Land Rover Toolbox Videos Thanks for the reply. Will try to put some force on the hub with a puller. I believe they have spun seized but there is sings of very slight corrosion on the shafts i suspect water has gotten in trough the seals but still puzzled what has caused this.
