The worst take is saying sneakers are art. They went from saying sneakers are art to saying yeezys’ sold for 1 million then the company that bought them went out of business. Sneakers & lux brands ARE NOT investments. When the chips are down nobody wants to be left holding the bag no matter how much a sucker paid for luxury items. Stocks, options bonds and Bitcoin are investments. Something must have tradable fungible value in order for it to be an investment. Chrome Hearts, Air Mags & Ballenciaga not so much.
