Good lesson , can we render video like solid colors , and export it as clip to after affect and give it material and lighting in AE.

This did work, but is still too slow for me. Any tips on how to make it faster? Reduce quality or something?

Animation preview are not final renders. They are just for rough previews only. If the animation preview is slow then it means your animation is slow. Decrease your frames to increase animation speed. But there are other ways too. In short learn animation techniques.
