I would like to ask for your opinion! There is quite a lot of controversy surrounding the American series Jackson. Many people cannot understand that this is not a Jackson "made in USA" model. The use of made in usa is regulated by the Federal Trade Commission! Either people are uneducated or they just can't understand that just because something is made in Corona, it doesn't automatically make it Made in Usa! In order to use "made in USA", 95% of the manufacturing cost of the guitar must be related to the USA. This means that only very expensive custom shop models can comply with these rules! They push the production cost so high that Chinese accessories and Floyd Rose can fit in the 5%! American series made in California, but not Jackson Made in Usa model!

Being a lefty, I can confirm that we indeed do always receive the shit-smeared end of the stick when it comes for guitars lol. Finding anything decent is next to impossible and takes forever! 7 strings are a pain in the ass to find. I waited 2 years to get one of my dream guitars (Schecter JL-7 FR) but man was it ever worth it! I got it in Vampyre Red which is next to impossible to get nowadays especially in a lefty configuration, and it plays so well! The 24th fret access feels a little constricted imo (I have big caveman hands lmao), but other than that, I have no complaints!
@michaelmetal712 жыл бұрын
hey @The Shape i’m with you bro as a fellow lefty you’re right we do sometimes get the short end of the stick, I should know I’m 51 and I grew up in the 80s and you would be hard-pressed to find anything cool much less really playable and with decent features during the mid to late 80s all fender offered was a lefty stratacaster or telecaster in maybe one or two colors and Gibsons are always way too expensive and forget finding any real cool shredder guitars from Kramer or Jackson and Charvel, which is why it’s actually kind of awesome to be a lefty during the times we live in right now in my opinion even Kramer has at least 4 to 5 lefty models and in different colors even Jackson makes at least 3 to 4 lefty models and even Charvel you get at least three now, but I gave up on fender a long time ago im a Schecter player now they have such a great variety and awesome features and high in points for decent prices,i personally own the nick Johnston HSS model super versatile and with all the high-end features and hardware you’d want I recommend checking one out
@basildog0072 жыл бұрын
I have a friend I've been playing with for years, a lefty. But last week he told me that he's only a lefty on guitar!!! Wtf??? I thought he was full lefty. He said at the beginning it felt right so he "chose it"... Terrible mistake, although less temptation...
@michaelmetal712 жыл бұрын
@@basildog007 yup same here I chose to be left-handed because that was the most natural thing for me to do was to place to guitar on my lap in the left-handed position and also I have like no dexterity in my left hand at all I couldn’t even do cowboy chords but as soon as I flip the guitar upside down it just felt natural to me sometimes it’s not a choice, even though it limits my choice of guitars I’d rather be able to fully play the guitar and shred the way I do instead of being able to barely play cowboy chords besides now in 2022 we have a huge variety of lefties choose from

*C-sharp, man 😛 That mini guitar is on point! I remember the whole DAR amps thing being a shit-show. Just looked it up again to refresh my memory. For one, with all the components involved, the amps were more expensive to build than what the guy wanted to sell them for. Second, supposedly the guy was building them all by himself, mostly as a hobby, and they took a long time to build. So you can imagine what happened when alot of people started preordering them. Because of the waiting time, and because the few ones that had already been delivered had issues, people started asking for refunds... aaand the guy couldn't handle those, so he disappeared. If the Internet is to be believed, even Fredrik never got anything more than a prototype. Re: QOTD - As someone who's always nervous before a gig (not that I've played many to begin with), I find that the more you have practiced by yourself and with a band, the sooner that pre-gig nervousness goes away.
@Hoxle-872 жыл бұрын
The most important thing young guitar players who want to play live don’t understand is that they need to practice 4-6 hours a day (almost every day). That way they can build that mechanical memory that will allow them to play while head banging, walking, talking, singing, and all that jazz. If you watch famous guitar player documentaries when they talk about their early years, they all say they spent all that time and more practicing.

Talking about Charvel I just got a Pro Mod SoCal type 1 in orange blaze and I must say having 14 guitars and hundreds over the years this guitar is smokin. Plays great right out of the box, I did tweak the truss rod wheel, sounds bold and tight with the Seymoure Dunkins. I have the Charvel San Dimas Satchel guitar with the Fishman's and what a guitar it is. I have yet to play a Solar and I am very interested . The 12-16 radius is very important and its a deal breaker if a guitar doesnt have that for me. Ive played those 3-5k guitars and they have nothing over these Charvels. Lets see what Solar has , they are on deck unless the new Dave Mustaine Kramers come out then that priority.
