On the Mustaine thing, I think Chet Atkins put it more kindly when someone in a small personal session told him “Man, that guitar sounds really good!” and Chet responded by sitting the guitar in a stand, stepping back and saying “What does it sound like now?”

How do you make music on guitar? When writing riffs or songs, do you know exactly what you want it to sound like: 1. Do you have it meticulously clear in your head and then learn how to play it (Per Nilsson does this), or 2. Do you sit at the instrument, noodle around, and stick to what sounds good? My proficiency in guitar and music theory isn’t at the level where I can think of something and immediately play it, so I just stick to the second method.
@bolillo5013Ай бұрын

A1.6FDPB-FF soubds amazing on your heavy settings, are you able to play something moderately heavy but with some funky jazzy vibes showing the clarity of the pickups, or recommend another guitar that can pull off a heavy style for someone into creating jazz funk metal and not having the funky chords smashed to pieces in the mid range? A1.6FDPB-FF heavy tonal possibilities and some funk chord possibilities mid-riff. Solar guitars check a lot of boxes but if i was going to demo one (which is impossible) thats what i would be testing. If A1.6FDPB-FF could funk that would be great. I don't mind swapping exceptional djent heaviness (dont need it all), or tuning to A (more like C or D) for that versatility, any Solar or other recommendations that can heavy and funk?

Out of all the rockstars, Mustaine has aged the best. Flawless transition from angry rebel rocker to curmudgeonly old lady. (I don't even disagree with his point. Make sure you can play good clean, then effects the shit out of it. It's always been that way, it's easy to use effects to cover up for sloppy playing.)

The nano is pretty limited. There are 4 banks where you can run 5 captures in each. Each bank is really more of a preset itself. Each bank can have one IR. So all of the 5 captures on that bank share the same IR and effects/gate. It would have been better to assign each preset in the bank with a separate IR and effects. There’s also no fx loop.
