The Golden Knight Of The Human Empire When I was watching this episode, I felt so many emotions towards Alice and Kirito, as well as understanding what Kirito was well conveying in his small movements. Like reaching out towards his and Eugeo's swords, I even wanted (mentality) punch those workers of Barbossa, who just took the Blue Rose Sword and lying straight to Alice's face. I can't wait for Episode 2, as well as another great Episode Explained by you, Gamerturk :) keep up the great work :3 Stay cool :)

There's nothing wrong with Ep. 1 (WOU) of all of it in animations Kirito has been condition after he and Eugeo saved Tiese and Ronye from that bastard rapist without triggered to report, Quinella is responsible for brainwashed people including Alice and kills Eugeo during the last fight. Finally, he tries to saved people's life from death games to Underworld. He has been a terrible memory back from losing his old friends (Sachi and the Moonlight Black Cats), Yuuki, and Eugeo. The problem is Kirito can't recover until he need back on foot. That's all I know

Golden Knight of The Human Empire 14:51 Personally, I don't think the corner cutting is too big of an issue as long as it doesn't seem that bad in the end product. A lot of the zoomed in stills that look weird and melty seem fine in an unzoomed state, imo. Though I'll admit that the Blue Rose Sword, in hindsight, did not look great at all in that specific scene.

It was also my mistake that I didn't put enough emphasis on this, but it all starts from the fact that they are relatively "far shots" in the first place. Look at how a majority of scenes with movement are drawn. Almost all of them are exclusively designed as "far shots" in the first place, which is the first step of the corner cutting process. If they do things from a normal zoom, they full well know it's going to require a lot more effort and talent put in. That is their solution. Make relatively far shots, so you don't need to put any details whatsoever. It's literally part of the same problem.

I gotta give the Bang Zoom English Dub of this episode credit for making most of their characters lines seem very similar to what they said in the light novels V14 and the chapter that of V15 . I noticed it a lot seeing as I recently finished reading volume 14 and the chapter 15 part 1 from volume 15 of what anime had adapted especially I heard Barbossa, Village Elder Gasfut Zuberg, Kikuoka, Kirito, Higa, Alice, Selka and Eldrie or should I say El-dree-hay as they seem to pronunced his name. Can Somebody Please correct me if I'm wrong on how the English pronunciation sounds there in the Bang Zoom dub? Still I really enjoyed your work in this video of yours GT.

I was wondering, SAO MD has had side stories, and had recently released one to go along the Alicization, War of Underworld arc. So I was wondering if these side stories actually were from the manga/light novels, and are actually going with the story line. Or if it’s just a story that seems to be part of the story line but was actually just made up for the game.

I havent been following MD since 6 star units came out so I cant comment for sure. But MD stories historically have been completely non-canon, as long as its an event story and not "Main Story". When they first introduced Alice and Eugeo, it was a completely original story where they were searching for Divine Objects in ALO.

I dont think it was rushed. As mentioned in the video, there are 2 possibilities. Either the entire production is aiming to focus on the actual spectacles (which is what I hope) or they are simply lacking quality in animation department, which is what the rumors and reports from Japan are suggesting.

Anyways I do hope they're just putting the Episode 4 ( the goblin fight in HE arc) quality inside the actual fight scenes rather than the rather lax episodes like episode 1. However it's still a loss because we don't get to enjoy Underworld's beauty to the best...

I wholeheartedly agree. WoU is not among my favorite arcs at all, with the exception of some individual moments. I will make a video about that once Alicization Anime is completely over. I just don't think it would be fair to do one right now. I personally don't want to put out a video that may affect peoples' enjoyment of the series simply because I shared my opinions on the story and they adopted it without giving it a chance themselves.

Apparently in the Light novel 15, Alice burned pancakes during the six months Who outside of Asuna is a bad cook that will put Kirito with a funnel to his stomach Also I had enough of frame complaining with the following: Super, Tri, Sailor Moon Crstal, and Persona 5 the Animation I do not need the next several month of frame obession again.

@@Gamerturk I know cloerworks is doing the first part, but That's always my issue is the nitpicking of animation I get people want great animation, but now it has to be that or complain about frame by frame or meme and people already meme SAO for Kirito harem or the 'rape', now it's going to frames. Who spends their time on every frame of animation? Again, Super, crystal, Tri, and Persona 5 the naimation, all meme'd for animation issues and that was the mos annoying thing to deal with. I'll take stufff not getting adapted over animation quality.

@@OathKeeperRiku07 Again, my main concern is not about frame by frame animation. It is about *the animation*. Things that you see over a time, not in a single frame. I never have issues with individual frames, it's the animation, the process that I care about. That's why I praise FGO so much. It has so many low quality individual frames, Episode 1's Ishtar action scene is utterly laughable if you go frame by frame. But I absolutely love it, because the scene itself, *the animation* as I referred to earlier, is absolutely solid, it is energetic, creative, fluid and interesting. That is what I want from SAO. I dont care if the shots are not wallpaper worthy. I want the animation to be engaging. That's why I love the old artstyle for SAO (Ordinal Scale is an exception due to it being a movie project and actually was able to handle the new artstyle). New artstyle is too detailed for a week to week project, so they end up cutting so many corners, which is my issue. Old Artstyle did not require this many details to be on screen, so animators actually spent time creating engaging animation, rather than wasting their times creating wallpaper worthy detailed frames here and there while everything else suffers.
